The Annual General Meeting of the STC South Camberwell Cricket Club will be held on Monday July 8th 2024 at the Malvernvale Hotel from 8:00pm.

The proxy voting form can be obtained by request from the club (life members or 2023/24 season financial members only).

Club Person of the Month

The club is pleased to announce Dan O'Connell as the Club Person of the Month for February.

In February, Dan organised the Past Players/Premiership Reunion event at Nettleton. This was the biggest and most successful event held at the club in many years, and Dan was instrumental in driving and planning the event. During the month Dan was also planning the Basil Finnigan Medal and Senior Presentation Night.

Prior to February Dan has been responsible for managing all social events at the club. He has done a great job in bringing current and past players together.

He helps in all aspects of the club and is a worthy winner of the award for February.

Juniors - exciting semi-final news!

STC congratulates the STC/Willows U14 side for making the U14 semi-final on Sunday March 10 at Alfred Crescent Oval at 10am.

We wish Lachlan Grey (Coach) and the U14 team all the best for the big day and please get down to support them if you can! Have fun and enjoy boys!

The club is pleased to announce Lawrence Colman as the Club Person of the Month for January.

In January, the club invested in a FrogBox. The FrogBox is one of the most significant capital items the club has purchased of recent times due to the ability of the FrogBox to live stream games which will have the ability to produce highlights for the club and connect with our community.

FrogBox has its complexities and Loz has been instrumental in the setup. His technical skills has ensured that the FrogBox commenced streaming games straight away. Further, Loz have also assisted others in learning how to use the FrogBox.

In addition to Loz's help with the FrogBox he also is always willing to help when something needs to be done at the clubrooms.

Juniors Update

Exciting news. We're counting down to the resumption of Girls games on Wednesday, January 31 and Junior games on Friday, February 2 and Saturday, February 3.

Over the break, we've purchased a Frogbox, which we're planning to pilot at Friday night games!

Importantly, please save Sunday, March 17 for the Junior presentation evening, from 4-7pm.

STC Past Players and Premiership Reunion will be held on Saturday February 3rd at Nettleton.

A roast dinner at $30 per head will be served at 6:30pm.

The club needs to have the number of people having dinner for catering purposes. If you plan on attending the night and having dinner please RSVP ASAP!

This weekend Angus Hamilton will be playing his 100th game for the club!

Angus is currently in his third season as captain of the 1st XI. He has terrorised attacks on a regular basis, represented the ECA at both junior and senior levels, and has been a fantastic leader for those who have played under him.

STC wishes Angus all the best for his 100th game on Saturday!

The club is pleased to announce Marc Mansour as the Club Person of the Month for December.

Marc put in a tremendous amount of work in the pre-season sorting through our merchandise, organising enough gear for the junior and senior teams, and going through our existing stock.

Further to all of this Marc has sourced new hoodies and singlets for the club. This accommodated the design required by the club and our sponsors.

This is ongoing work required throughout the season. Marc tracks all orders efficiently and controls stock levels. He's taken the merchandise manager role to a new level.

On top of this Marc has stepped up at late notice as coach of the under 12's.
