Today we say goodbye to our two Japanese workers- Honoka and Shiori. Both girls are going travelling for a couple of weeks then back home to Japan

Tomorrow is cafe smart day. 780 cafes and coffee roasters Australia wide are getting behind a great cause, helping fight homelessness! Just by turning up to any cafe displaying the yellow posters you will be doing your part to help.

It's and annual coffee industry event that helps fight homelessness. We're raising funds for our local homeless charities. So it's keeping local funds for local people

How can you be involved?
Call in this Friday to Black lab coffee and if you buy a coffee will will donate $1 from every coffee sold to charity. If you're feeling extra generous, you can also donate the cost of a coffee to the charity in store this week.

Good news ! We have your coffee needs sorted over the Easter long weekend. Open every day with reduced hours 7am - 12pm. Fresh baked croissants and pastries every day and plenty of treats of course for the fury children

7yrs later or 49dog years later still best friends for ever.

It’s the end of an era today with our oldest standing staff member Jenna pouring her last coffees. Jenna has been with us for 7yrs with the first photo taken back in November 2016 and the last photo November 2023.

Jenna is off on a whirlwind tour of Europe after recently finishing her degree and then on to work in her chosen profession.

From all of us at Black Lab, we wish you the best of luck. It’s been a joy to see Jenna grow from the shy girl who came in looking for a job with her dad to the confident and capable person she is today. Lastly congratulations on winning this year’s Swan master championships!! Way to go out in style
