Given will closing its doors for the final time on Friday the 29th of July.
We opened our doors with our hearts full of pride and passion for Asian food which soon shifted to more of a focus on Filipino food. We are proud with what we have achieved, what we have learnt ( and still to learn), we feel more connected to our culture and heritage and celebrate the growing scene of Filipino food in Australia.

Just a quick personal post from Mahalia, I hope everyone can spare a moment to read it. In the recent floods my home town of Lismore was badly damaged by the floods and someone very close to my family and someone I had grown up with was taken from us. The past week has been a struggle for me because I felt like there was nothing I could do to help. It’s been heartbreaking seeing how much the community itself has lost but to see in these hard times how much my community has banded together and found the spirit to keep moving forward has definitely inspired me. As I will be going down to Lismore soon for the funeral I am hoping for any donations I can bring down there with me, and generosity would be very much appreciated. I hope we can lend a helping hand to Lismore and help them begin to recover. Thank you for reading.
