Meet Maninder (Mandy), a Level 2 Service Technician on our team! Mandy joined Veracity two years ago, and is the trusted consultant to many of our client partners.

Mandy has a Bachelor in Computer Science, and in 2015 she completed her Masters in Information Technology and Business Administration after moving from India to Australia.

Veracity’s human-led approach to client partnerships, technology and business attracted Mandy to join the team. Her role is diverse: supporting the Service Desk team with the more complex challenges, building trusted relationships with clients, and seeing consultancy projects through from design to implementation.

Mandy, her husband Nick, and almost four-year old daughter Rubab, recently moved into the new house they built. While technology talk takes centre stage at work, at home Mandy and her family prioritise switching off and spending quality, low-tech time together cooking, swimming and connecting.

“There needs to be a balance between tech and human connection. Face-to-face connection is so important and we learn much more about the people and businesses we partner with and the challenges they are facing. That’s why we get out to see our client partners in person as much as we can.” 🧡

With a background in journalism and a Bachelor of IT under his belt, he's a Level 1 Technician who thrives on tackling complex tech issues and finding solutions for our client partners. 🧡

From gaming to AI philosophy and ethics, Matthew's diverse interests fuel his passion for problem-solving and continuous learning. Outside of work, you'll find him immersed in fantasy novels, gaming, or out on his family’s rural property clearing land.

The 2023-2030 Australian Cyber Security Strategy was released late last year, outlining the Australian government's aim of making Australia a world leader in cybersecurity by 2030.

Cyber attacks are on the rise with a cyber crime now reported every six (6) minutes, and the cost to businesses of cyber crimes are increasing.

As part of the new strategy, Cybersecurity will shift from being a technical topic reserved for those in the IT and technology sector (🤓) to being a whole-of-nation endeavour to better protect individuals and businesses from cyber criminals and cyber attacks.

Finn is a tech enthusiast and has been interested in machine learning technology since before ChatGPT made it popular. He’s currently wrapping up Computer Science studies and in his spare time he’s coding a machine learning tool that predicts sports match outcomes 🎾🤯

Making the complex seem simple is Finn’s superpower and we’re so glad he’s on the Veracity team 🙌

Directed by industry giant Simon Phillips, internationally renowned for his work on Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and Ladies in Black, BANANALAND is a rollercoaster romp full of heart, music, comedy and loveable characters.

We laughed and danced in our seats as the WORST rock band becomes the BEST kids’ band!

The evening came to a showstopping end, celebrating with fellow BANANALAND sponsors, cast and Brisbane Festival team.

In celebration of our Brisbane Festival partnership, we treated our valued clients to an evening of light-hearted fun and frivolities at the show There’s Something About Music. The ultimate romcom movie mixtape from local hit-makers the little red company the show is an upbeat homage to romantic comedy soundtracks, presented by Australian theatre sweethearts including Marcus Corowa, Irena Lysiuk, Luke Kennedy and Naomi Price.

We bopped along to classic romcom soundtracks including Notting Hill, My Best Friend’s Wedding, Bridesmaids, When Harry Met Sally, 10 Things I Hate About You, Pretty Woman, Bridget Jones’s Diary and more.

There’s Something About Music is an irresistible show and must-see during Brisbane Festival.

We were delighted to attend the much anticipated Brisbane Festival opening night at the Australian Retirement Trust Festival Garden. The evening started with JARRAH (Mother Earth); a gathering of nations led by Tribal Experience Managing Director Shannon Ruska to cleanse the path forward, and officially open the 2023 Brisbane Festival through ceremony, stories, song, and dance.

The evening also included the official opening of THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MUSIC by the little red company. A fun irresistible homage to romantic comedy soundtracks, this is a show not to be missed.

At the end the evening, we were treated to a special flight of a Festival first drone display, NIEERGOO: SPIRIT OF THE WHALE, 400 drones took the sky to light up this incredible 65,000-year-old story.

Congratulations to the Brisbane Festivall team to a wonderful festival kick-off! We’re looking forward to painting the town pink this September.

We were recently treated to an exclusive viewing of Lightscape at the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens. An internationally acclaimed visual feast for the senses, Lightscape is an immersive experience that takes you on a journey of the senses through light, colour and sounds.

We had the opportunity to stroll alongside larger-than-life flowers, giant poppies suspended high in the sky and sparkling tunnels of light.

Lightscape is a wonderful experience that illuminates the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens in a way we’ve not seen before.

Veracity recently hosted a very special event at HOTA Home of the Arts with some of our good friends, and the Gold Coast sure put on a picture-perfect autumn afternoon for it. We started at The Exhibitionist Bar, where we were looked after so beautifully, before being treated to a private, behind-the-scenes tour of the Pop Masters exhibition with Gallery Director and exhibition curator Tracy Cooper-Lavery – a memorable and insightful experience. We love HOTA and the whole precinct, and we’re so proud of how far it’s come over the past 8 years. Their progressive team just keeps kicking down doors and going for it in so many ways – we're honoured to be on this exciting journey with them. Photos: Jye Stuart

We're reflecting on the recent performance of Queensland Symphony Orchestra's stunning Maestro Concert series - Ode to Joy. In addition to two marvelous Beethoven and Sculthorpe works, we were also treated to a musical collaboration between, didgeridoo virtuoso and Queensland Australian of the Year William Barton and powerhouse violinist Veronique Serret. The 'Heartland' work was described as ‘a message of peace and love carried by the eagle spirit’, and was transformed by the QSO into a stunning orchestral version...and it was breathtaking. At the gathering of supporters after the show, Chief Conductor Umberto Clerici described the evening as being about humanity and friendship, and that without art and music, we are just a collection of items...so true...Congratulations Yarmila Alfonzetti, Umberto Clerici and to all of the talented musicians and singers on a stunning start to the season - and to outgoing Concert Master Warwick Adeney on his incredible contribution to the fabric of Queensland's orchestral culture. Veracity is proud to be associated with this wonderful organisation.

Bravo Home of the Arts – thank you for a sensational night and the honour of being amongst the first official guests to experience “Pop Masters – Art from the Mugrabi Collection, New York”. From the magnificent welcome at the outdoor stage, to the superbly themed dinner, and most importantly, the experience of this knock-out exhibition. It was a thrill to see iconic artworks by Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and so many more inspired by their legacy, up close and personal. Veracity is so proud to be a Corporate Partner of this world-exclusive exhibition and to be a trusted partner of HOTA.
