SHINY NEW THING! Last night BCM Group with .pr took home an Effie Award! A bronze for The Life Saving List campaign. It’s a notoriously hard gong to win, awarded purely on an idea’s effectiveness.

The good news keeps coming for The Life Saving List campaign! We scored 2 x Shortlists at The Effie Awards Australia, nominated in the Positive Change and Short-Term Effects categories for effectiveness with .pr. Off the back of winning Mumbrella Pro Bono Campaign of the Year 2023, we’re so proud of the success of this campaign, delivering real results to help those facing blood cancer across Australia. Another big congrats to our clients Liam and Josephine O’Brien.

Another day at BCM Group, another Mumbrella Awards shortlist. This time in the Mumbrella Travel Awards for our wonderful clients and their sustainability-led ‘Sunshine Moments’ campaign.

A huge congratulations to our intern Vlada who’s been accepted into the 2023 cohort!

With a notoriously slim acceptance rate, we’re really proud to see her kicking creative goals. Having joined the BCM team last year after moving from Ukraine, Vlada comes armed with a Bachelor of Business (Advertising) and a Masters in Brand Management.

Vlada’s been an incredible asset to our team, and we’re excited to support her in growing her career.

The team got to hear all about the latest tech that Yahoo will be rolling out over the next year to keep themselves on the bleeding edge of the latest opportunities in market.

We’re excited to implement these learnings onto our 2023 campaigns.

Our quarterly BCM on-point awards acknowledge BCMers who are going above and beyond to help us deliver the precision and exactitude we’re known for as an agency. This quarter, Carley, Claire and Ellie took home the on-point prizes. Congrats to these sharp and shining minds!

We’ve kicked off the second year of our internship program by welcoming the wonderful Emily and Rebecca on board. Our barista interns will do more than just keep us caffeinated (which is no mean feat!), they’ll jump into projects and gain experience across all departments of our integrated agency. Run in partnership with QUT, we’re committed to giving keen advertising students a steaming hot start in their career, which we hope will one day carry them all the way to Cannes.
