Well, what a special day it was celebrating our dear Robyn Demeio’s President’s Day, with a beach theme. Heather welcomed our special guests including Rob’s husband Mick, our Patron Joan, life member Shirley, Bistd member Bev and Manager Brett. Admin ladies Nikki, Emma and Kelly also joined us for lunch. The staff and our Management Committee worked tirelessly to put this successful day together with fun bowls followed by an amazing special lunch and of course cutting of the cake. Following lunch there was a presentation of gifts of engraved crystal champagne flutes and a throw rug Coral put together with photos of Robyn and members. Robyn completes her three year term at the AGM in two weeks time so today was a fitting acknowledgement of the time, effort and love she has given while leading our wonderful ladies Bowls club. Enjoy the photos.

A pity it rained for our Gala Day however, that did not stop the ladies including visiting ladies from C.ex, Macksville, Urunga and Woolgoolga from having an enjoyable day. It was heads down for trivia with the winners being Ann Worboys, Michelle Watt, Kerry Blow and Judie Kennedy. Lucky rink winners and losers were also drawn; lots of goodies at the cent auction and some wonderful raffle prizes followed by a yummo lunch. We look forward to next year.
Congratulations Joey Clarke, no. 2 on the male national rankings. Outstanding effort.

Mens Pennant - Less than 6 weeks for teams to be entered!
If your club has not started a list of players interested in playing in the Mens Pennant - ask them why!
Games are scheduled to be played over 2 weekends in December - 7th & 8th for sectional, 14th & 15th for finals.
State finals are scheduled for 11th to 13th March (Tues-Thur).
If this competition is not supported across the State I would not be surprised to see it disappear from our calendar. If you want to play Mens Pennant get your club fired up and get entries happening.
