Are you an experienced property professional looking to take your career to the next level? We are now looking for a Senior Property Officer/Property Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Liaise with prospective tenants, industry and purchasers of LDC’s Facilities and assets.
• Facilitate and coordinate the commercial negotiation of sale, leasing and licencing agreements for land and property owned by LDC.
• Provide support and coordination activities for LDC’s tenancy and facility management services and sale transactions, including the provision of practical advice and information to tenants and LDC management on property matters.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with relevant agencies, real estate agents, developers and other key stakeholders.
• Prepare high level briefings, reports, and general correspondence in a timely matter.
• Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to LDC’s Business team.
• Under the direction of the Executive Director Operations, execute other reasonable duties as required.

LDC comes together to support Dawn House this festive season.
Congratulations and thank you to Lija for your efforts and enthusiasm to co-ordinate gifts and financial donations from staff to support Dawn House this festive season. The gifts will be going to the women and children who are at Dawn House over the Christmas period.
Dawn House is a Women and Children’s shelter providing a new beginning across the Darwin community. The service began back in 1976 and has always been ran by women for women and their kids.
Thank you to Lesley for helping select what gifts to purchase with the donations and to all the staff who got involved and donated.
We hope these gifts go a long way to help lift the spirits of all this Christmas season.

Contract awarded for next stage of Wishart Estate
Stage 2 of Wishart Estate is now ready for construction with the subdivision construction tender awarded to Ostojic Group.
This second stage of Wishart Estate provides two lots totalling 5.6 hectares targeting strategic uses, including a 3.9 hectare site for a data centre proponent.
The $9M contract will include all civil works, bulk earthworks, drains and culverts, roadworks, HV electricity head-works, water, communications and street lighting. A new intersection from Wishart Road will provide access for the new lots, and LDC’s future development of further stages to the north.
Ostojic were the civil contractors or Stage 1 of Wishart Estate (Truck Central), and have a wealth of local civil construction experience through their 50 40 years of work.
LDC looks forward to working with Ostojic and bringing to market the next stage of Wishart Estate.
