2. vital bridge connecting the wider African community and the Australia Government and agencies, non government organisations, businesses and other key stakeholders to build productive and sustainable working relationships with people of African descent in Australia, maintain, sustain and promote cultural harmony, and enable stronger, respectful and beneficial shared interests partnerships between Australia and the African continent. FACCA Inc founding National Executive Council (NEC) comprised the following leaders of African communities from across Australia:

Recently, in September 2020 to be precise, after many months of national consultation with leaders of state and territory African community peak bodies and organisations as well as other key stakeholders of African descents, it was unanimously resolved that FACCA Inc be reformed or overhauled not only to be a unifying fully inclusive and representative national African community peak body that it was established to be, but to also effectively efficiently meet current and future needs of members and hence, achieve desired goals and objectives through transparent, accountable, professional best practice. It was also unanimously agreed that a new interim administration be established to administer the affairs of FACCA Inc and in particular, to oversee the reform or overhauling process. This latter decision gave birth to the current new interim National Executive Council with composition and mandate as follows. Composition of the new interim National Executive Council:

Mandate of the new interim National Executive Council:
1. Lead and administer the affairs of FACCA Inc.
2. Engage & consult nationally to seek advice from existing FACCA Inc membership including leaders and members of state and territory African community peak bodies and organisations as well as other key stakeholders on any issues that will enable FACCA Inc to perform the set functions.
3. Review the structure, strategic direction, scope and objectives of the organisation and amend where necessary to provide proper, clear & well defined guidance and direction;
4. Conduct a review of FACCA Inc constitution and amend where necessary to align with the new direction and to ensure that FACCA Inc meets the current and future needs of its members, and
5. Organise a national Annual General Meeting where a new NEC will be appointed.
