A Little Yoga offers group classes in Melbourne’s northern suburbs and currently has an allocated space in Epping. We look forward to seeing you on the mat.
‘A Little Yoga’ is a private and small yoga business teaching ‘Purna Yoga’ (see below). The space is used as an office during the day and then converted by night. Ali Little is the sole teacher at A Little Yoga and offers beginner foundation classes with a strong focus on alignment; this class will break down the poses holding them for longer periods. We also offer a Slow Flow class for those with
some yoga experience; this class will be more dynamic and at a faster pace. All classes will run for 60mins and conclude with 5-10 mins of Shavasana (see below). Blocks, belts and bolsters are available and encouraged to be used to support and modify postures safely. Ali will assist you with any questions you have on whether you will benefit from the use of a prop and how to use them correctly and safely. Private classes are available upon request for those who prefer a one on one or smaller group experience, these classes’ can be conducted in the studio space or in the comfort of your own home. Please email me if you would like to book into a private or small group (1-4ppl) class: [email protected]. Shavasana (co**se pose) is a resting/relaxation pose where you lie on your back with arms and legs spread, the eyes are shut and the breath is long and deep. The entire body is relaxed into the mat releasing tension in all areas of the body. Shavasana is intended to rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit. Purna Yoga uses a variety of effective methods to address our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. Purna Yoga focuses on the physical postures (asanas) as well as philosophy, meditation, pranayama breathe control and the yogic personal and social code of ethics (the Yamas and the Niyamas). We will support you as you build strength, flexibility and stamina, lighten the heart and mind by calming and energising the body. Classes coming soon, an update will be provided in the coming weeks.
