This weekend the 3rd and 5th years took a trip to Katanning to look at the farm designs of Ron Watkins and how his processes and principles of regenrative agriculture could influence the design of urban landscapes in studio. Have a flick through 'Call of the Reed Warbler: A New Agriculture and New Earth' by Charles Massey for a feature about Ron Watkins methodologies and other key ideas around holistic approaches to agriculture

In 2023 the WA Chapter is thrilled to host its annual Presentation to Juries Day at Curtin University's state-of-the-art School of Design and the Built Environment (DBE) building, designed by John Wardle Architects.

Featuring some of Australia's most prominent architects, this event is a rare opportunity for the general public to learn about the architectural process (from concept to construction) of projects entered in the 2023 WA Architecture Awards.

Judging will span 10 major categories, with a 7-minute presentation, followed by a 3-minute Q&A.
