We have a super star amongst us! Over August. Dee, SBCC's exercise tutor is diving into the cold to raise money for cancer research. She is featured on the front page & page 5 of today's Geelong Advertiser. Check it out. You might even like to help her out! Good work Dee!! We are proud of you 😀

Being the first week of the month, it's an especially busy week at SBCC. Remember next Monday is the King's Birthday Holiday so the Centre will be closed next Monday.

Next Thursday, 6th June is our next 'Happy Snappers' Mobile
Phone Photography Session. We are exploring the Geelong Waterfront & building our phone photography skills & taking fantastic photos. If you are interested we are meeting at 1pm at the Carousel. As we head into winter come & chat with our friendly volunteers & staff about what is happening at South Barwon Community Centre.

This week is Volunteers Week. Yesterday, with the assistance of Daria, our student who is currently on placement from The Gordon, we held a Thank You Morning Tea with SBCC Quiz & catch up to recognise the wonderful work our volunteers do. A big thank you to all our Volunteers for all the fantastic work you do, with out you we could not help so many people in the community.

This week is Volunteers Week. It is a chance for us to recognise all our fantastic volunteers. We have volunteers filling an array of positions including: committee, administration & gardening. Thank you VERY much to all our Volunteers. Remember we always looking for more volunteers & can discuss opportunities to build your skills.
