Last night we attended a talk about Indigenous Food Sovereignty in South East Queensland. We listened to a panel of First Nations Women discussing food sovereignty, the native food industry and the cultural significance of food, plants, medicine & cultivation practices.
We also got to meet Costa Georgiadis Official from Gardening Australia & Aunty Betty got to have a big yarn with him.
Next Thursday the 8th of August the Nutcha Women's Group will be meeting at 10am at the Logan Art Gallery.
