Working virtually can feel incredibly isolating, and also at times quite demotivating.

This is why we have twice monthly member co-working days to encourage each other to get sh*t done. It's also a chance to yell out if you're stuck on something, because someone is always bound to be able to help.

My hot tip for Monday! You don't have to start big to move forward.

Those "big" things you want to achieve, they are all made up of little details, and each one of those counts. Road blocks can often come from feeling overwhelmed by how big something is. If you break it down, you will find it is far more achievable and less daunting, and as a result, much easier to complete.

Ace your small things, and watch the big things fall into place.

The weekend is upon us, and I want to ask a serious question...

When is the last time you had fun? "Uh, what's so serious about that question, Rosie?!"

What's serious about it is that I see so many Virtual Assistants always feeling like they have to be "on" and never really switch off, resulting in burn out.

Being a business owner isn't for the light hearted, and yes it is stressful, but you must remember to take time out to have FUN! And what that looks like for you will be different to the next person, but when we don't have fun in our lives, it gets monotonous and stale, and we end up not being happy campers!

Don't be afraid to turn off your computer, walk away from your desk, and do something that makes you smile so much your cheeks hurt!

And while the weather definitely isn't warm enough to get in a pool right now 😆 I can assure you that my fun time starts right... now!

As a virtual assistant, your skills, expertise, and time are incredibly valuable. Just because a client asks for a price cut doesn't mean you should compromise on what you deserve.

Lowering your prices once sets a precedent for future negotiations. Clients may come to expect discounts, undermining your worth as a professional.

Also, don't forget that your rates reflect the investment you've made in your skills, tools, and ongoing education. Don't shortchange yourself for the sake of short-term gains.

It's okay to say no! 🛑

As virtual assistants, we're often eager to please and take on every task that comes our way. But here's a friendly reminder: it's perfectly okay to say no sometimes. Here's why:

✅ Protect your boundaries
✅ Focus on your strengths
✅ Respect your limits
✅Honour your priorities

Saying no doesn't mean you're letting anyone down—it means you're taking care of yourself and your business.
