With the sweet return of the warmth of the Sun, we return into the cycle of Spring and all the blessings this season brings. We begin to unravel the heaviness of the cold of Winter, unfurling out of hibernation and rest, and move more into renewal, growth and expansion.
In Yin Yoga and TCM, we work with the natural rhythms of nature, turning to focus on the parts of the body, associated with the element of Spring, (wood element) being the Liver and Gallbladder. Through Yin, we maintain a healthy flow of qi (chi) through the meridian channels to keep the liver and gallbladder functioning at maximum capability, keeping us healthy and balanced, physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Reiki is a non invasive gentle healing method used with gentle touch and energy force to support balance in the mind and body, reducing stress and anxiety. With the combination of the soothing vibrations of a Sound Bath, it makes the perfect deep relaxation and healing experience.

Looking for a practice to vitalise your flexibility and mobility?
Come and explore Yin Yoga with me. I run classes Monday & Wednesday nights from 7pm- 8:15pm at
In this weeks classes there will be focus on Spinal Health, where you will learn postures that will aid in increasing the health of your spine, improving mobility.
Yin Yoga is a gentle, slow practice, where we turn inwards, folding into shapes for anywhere up to 2 to 5 minutes, depending on the needs of your body. With an invitation to use props for support to decrease or intensify sensations in the area of the body that is being targeted to exercise the Yin tissues of the body. Then the tissues are rested for sometime in between each fold. This allows the tissues to rehydrate and rejuvenate.
This practice has a profound affect on the mind and body, increasing qi energy flow, leaving you feeling recharged, rebalanced and truly nurtured.
In each and every nurturing practice, we will explore the meridians of the body, fascia (connective tissues) connect deep within yourself, Earth connection and the elements and explore the depths of your creativity. Yoga mats and props are provided, however you are so welcome to bring along your own.

When you are in a state of exhaustion, fatigue and stress, it’s a sign that your body’s natural biorhythm may be out of balance.
Connecting more with nature and its cycles will assist in resetting your body’s natural biorhythm, synchronising your energy into its natural cycles, for ample health, wellbeing and vitality. Rising with the morning sun and getting ample natural light helps reset and maintain your energy.
Eating meals and sleeping at the same time every day, reducing caffeine and alcohol, exercising early in the morning and reducing artificial light exposure from electronic devices, can reset and align your body’s cycles for you to feel your best and thrive.
So if you feel overly tired regularly and unbalanced, be honest with yourself and acknowledge where you may need to change things up a bit, so you’re thriving and not just surviving.

Nature Therapy activates all the senses, encouraging mindfulness and aids in decreasing anxiety, stress and depression.
Connection with the earth and soil supports and stimulates the increase of serotonin in the mind and body.
Serotonin is a happy hormone, which increases joy, appreciation and happiness.
It’s an invitation to create a presence of love, through mindfulness, self compassion and nourishment, to truly flourish.
Participants learn about the interconnected relationship and cycles they share with nature and deepen their connection with Mother nature and themselves. Learning how to nurture themselves with self compassion, love and nourishment.
Just as a plant needs nourishment from sunlight, soil and water, they too need to be nourished in order for them to grow and move through struggles, in order for them to flourish and bloom.
This therapeutic workshop was woven and inspired by my love of nature, and tending to my own garden, which I call ‘The Zen Garden’. Over the past 3 months, I have had my own struggles, navigating and working through grief, heartache and rage, by getting my hands deep in soil and connecting with the earth, I have been able to move and grow through the most hardest moments of my life and want to share how with others, who may be struggling.
What a therapeutic session includes:
• Learning mindfulness techniques through simple meditation and breathing techniques.
• Creating and potting your own lush
pot of various succulents.
• Connect with others
(small group of max 6 people.)
• Nature art practices.
• Plant & flower medicine.
• Light refreshments & more.

I haven’t shared much here lately. In fact, I’ve needed to take some time off.
The devastation of what has happened to me personally over the past 3 months, and the effect it has had on my nervous system, had left me feeling depleted, paralysed, empty and wanting to hide and close myself off to the rest of the world.
Shifting through the motions of grief, heartache, confusion and rage, all the while, trying to relocate and keep both me and my daughter happy, healthy, and moving forward at the same time.
It’s the time I’ve needed to heal..taking time to receive healing for myself, instead of giving and holding space for others. Filling my own cup, tending to my garden and removing the weeds, so to speak.
And tending to my garden is literally what has saved me from breaking completely.
Connecting with the earth lights up every cell of my being, whether it’s walking barefoot on the soft blades of grass or getting the grains of sand along the sea line stuck between my toes, a swim in the ocean, smelling the aroma of blossoms as I pass them by, tree gazing, or getting my hands deep into soil and planting seeds or small plants and nurturing them with love as I watch them grow.

I’m so incredibly grateful to be wholeheartedly teaching HICAT courses ( Holistic Integrated Creative Art Therapy) with to create the change the world needs, with education on mind and body health and wellbeing.
In this class, our HICAT practitioners in training, learned about the healing benefits Sand play and Earth Art has on the mind, body and spirit.
With Earth Art, materials come from the Earth, to which they are returned. Leaving no footprint.
It is left where it is created, for the earth and elements to reclaim, gently encouraging the concept of letting go, as nothing is permanent.
Connecting with nature and sharing your love and gratitude for what nature provides, is profoundly grounding, healing and nurturing.
I loved experiencing, hearing and seeing the wisdom and creativity unfurl from each of the students and I’m so grateful that I’m on this path of teaching and mentoring.

Are you a dedicated and loving person who would like to extend a life line to rescued 'Battery Hens' and provide them the chance to live the retirement they deserve?
We have the opportunity to take a in number of 'Spent' ladies saving them from the fate usually awaiting egg laying hens when their egg production slows at the ripe old age of 18 months. We would like nothing more than to connect with loving forever homes, however we can only say yes if we have commited adopters.
🐔 A few things to note before applying 🐔
~ We feel it is our job to find the best homes for the ladies, not to find people hens. Our priority is always the Ladies.
~We adopt hens as companions only, not for the purposes of egg laying or breeding. We do not guarentee any of the hens will lay after their horrific life so please don't apply unless you will treat the hens with the same unconditional love and care as other companion animals regardless of how many eggs they lay. Chickens are not disposable!
~Our process and adoption form might feel fussy, but please know if that you are here and adopting for the right reasons, we are commited to supporting you. Questions are most welcome!
~ We have a $20 adoption fee per hen, it goes a small way to covering the vitimins, worming, lice/mite treatment, medications and any Vet visits the girls require.
Now I've finished the part where I sound mean, I would love to say that we are more than happy to help and support anyone wishing to truly give a couple of beautiful ladies the life they deserve. Feeling into the sensation of the soft blades of grass beneath my feet, connecting the flow of my breath with the waves of Mother Earth’s rhythm. Feeling her hold me, ground me and nurture me. Here are some ways I have been honouring my body and celebrating me more, over the past 6 months. Which may inspire you to celebrate you more and inspire you to make more space for self care.
- Being conscious of how and what brings you stress and knowing how to regulate your nervous system is the key to deep self nourishment and replenishment.
- Invite sensual touch to your body. It doesn’t necessarily mean sexual touch, but bringing loving touch and awareness to areas of the body that don’t receive much attention, is a beautiful nurturing ritual to celebrate and honour your body more. If it leads to sexual self pleasure, then that’s a bonus.
- Go for a walk in the beauty of nature and connect with new surroundings.
- Stretch and move your body. Having a daily movement practice is your way of honouring your body and enhancing vitality.
- Write down 3 things about yourself that you a grateful for.
- Go to a creative class (drawing, painting, writing) to nurture your creative self expression.
- Take a break from social media, for as long as you desire and not feel any guilt about it, at all.
- Create a wish list of activities you would love to do, then go do one.
- Gift yourself a massage or facial.
- Book yourself a rejuvenating retreat or weekend away.
- Invite your fave humans to come have a night out with you.
- Complete a course in something that inspires and ignites passion within.
- Dance on the beach. Connect with the flow of the ocean.
- Connect with the flow of your breath and witness how it nurtures your whole body.
- Eat more nourishing whole foods and stay hydrated.
- Take a magnesium bath.
- Listen to your favourite music or podcast.
- Celebrate your achievements.
- Get regular deep replenishing rest.
- Walk bare foot on the Earth.
- Have a daily affirmation or mantra that supports and uplifts you.
- Learn a new language, or learn an instrument, it’s never too late.
- Replace social media with a good book or Duolingo.
- Have a ritual of self massage before bed. Massaging your feet, allows you to have a better nights sleep.
- Turn to things that nourish you, not deplete you.
