Today we had out Kinder Water Safety Incursion reinforcing key water safety concepts including the importance of adult supervision, calling for help, swimming between the flags at the beach and staying safe in a variety of aquatic environments. We loved songs, games, stories and conversations to learn these important concepts.

Great Start Kindergarten is looking for a passionate educator to work at our sessional kindergarten for the remainder of 2021 for our 3 year old program until 17th December 2021. Hours are 5.5 per week, on Wednesdays from 9:00 am - 2.30 pm. We have a diverse range of cultures attending our Kindergarten. We are currently seeking staff that can work cooperatively and professionally as a member of a team and assist with the provision of a high quality educational program for the children.

You would be responsible to the Educator on a day to day basis for implementing the program and daily routines. You would assist in working with individual, small and whole groups of children. You would be required to assist with the planning and preparation of the program and collecting documentation. You would be working in our 3 and 4 year old groups.
You will show confidence in implementing and supporting programs through observation, assessment and reflection.

Your pedagogy will support children's learning and development while incorporating the principals, practices and outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework.

You will be an Advocate for children as competent confident self-learners and plan for their individual learning and development through meaningful interactions and intentional teaching.

3 year old Kinder 9:15 - 2:15 pm (Tues)
Kindergarten fees for 2022 are $450.00 per term for 4-year-old kindergarten and $135 per term for 3-year-old kindergarten.

If your child is eligible for the KFS, they can attend funded kindergarten hours for free.
The Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET) has the most up-to-date KFS eligibility criteria
