For anyone wondering about the sides of the canvas. The most popular question I get asked: "do you lose any of the image to the sides?". The short answer is no! If you provide us the image, we will extend the sides for you in what's called a gallery wrap.

📸 Happy World Photography Day!

Every year in August, we celebrate the invention of the daguerreotype. This groundbreaking photographic process was created in 1837 by the talented French artist and photographer Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre. This historic milestone shaped the art of photography as we know it today!

Daguerre invented the daguerreotype. This positive image was recorded on a copper plate coated with silver iodide. The latent image, created in the camera, was developed by being exposed to mercury vapour and then fixed using a strong saline solution.

🌟 From the early days to today's cutting-edge technology, photography has evolved into a powerful medium that captures emotions and stories in a single frame.

Last week I had the pleasure to reproduce a magnificent piece painted by of Nicky Winmar. Not only reproduced, but it was a limited edition print at a much larger scale than the original, framed with a black oak floating frame. You have to see it in person to really appreciate it!
