2023 was full of love and happy moments. We can't thank you enough for making it all happened.
Oko was opened with the belief that connection and communities are what made human and we strive to strengthen that belief with coffee. 2023 has furrther showed us what it meant and everyone who made it to our little corner has become more than just a customer and created a vibe that gave Oko its characters.
With great gratefulness, we hope to keep believing in creating more moments and connection, doesn't matter how small, to make everybody who happens to share with us a little happier.
Let's be kind, be happy and be imaginative.

Our store had a special treat this period lately when the Rose Roaster popped up on our shelving. It's an incredible addition to our selection of coffee products. If you haven't checked it out yet, don't hesitate to swing by and experience it yourself!

There’s nothing quite like the experience of a good hojicha latte. The hallmark smoky flavor and soft toasted notes lend it a complex yet smooth taste that often eludes other caffeinated drinks. Every sip is like a relaxing walk through the woods — calming and grounding. Best enjoyed during a long day of studying or when you need to pause from the hustle and bustle

l Long Black 101 l

The long black is quite an exquisite beverage and one that must be savoured slowly. Without the addition of milk, the taste of the underlying espresso blend is far more noticeable and provides a unique experience for the coffee lover.
Rather than simply adding sweetener, as might be done with other coffee varieties, traditionalists prefer to experience this coffee black in order to make the most of its flavourful intricacies.
Also, some people may find that it's far too strong for their taste, but others can truly appreciate how amazing a cup of properly-crafted long blacks can be.

l Puppies and Us l

From the moment they enter our lives, puppies have a way of wrapping themselves around our hearts and never letting go. For many of us, puppies are our first foray into the world of unconditional love and unending devotion—lessons that we carry with us throughout our lives.
In turn, we show them the same level of love and devotion, becoming their protector, confidante, and best friend. It's a bond that is unlike any other, capable of weathering even the most challenging of times. Not only will you get loads of love and kisses, but you might just find yourself changing in ways that you never thought possible-for the better.

lThe Caffeine Connectionl

We all know how great coffee is. The caffeine pick-me-up is essential for many of us to get through the day. But coffee is more than just a delicious beverage. It is also a social lubricant that helps us connect with others.
When we share a cup of coffee with someone, we are engaged in a simple act of communication. We are saying, "I want to spend time with you." Whether we are catching up with an old friend or sharing a moment with a co-worker, coffee gives us the opportunity to connect with others.
And in a world that can often feel isolating and alienating, that connection is more important than ever.

l The birth of espresso l

Though it may be hard to believe, espresso is neither a bean nor a roast.
It is actually a method of pressurized coffee brewing that originated in Italy. This speedy brewing process results in a strong and concentrated cup of coffee that is perfect for those on the go.
In fact, espresso has given birth to a whole culture of fast-paced coffee shops where customers can buzz in for a quick pick-me-up and then right back out again.

DAMARLI NOBLE GEISHA l Natural Green Tip Geisha

Without a doubt the most well-known Geisha-producing country is Panama. Its unique climate, high altitudes, and potassium and calcium-rich volcanic soils offer growing conditions that allow the variety to thrive. Natural Green Tip Geisha come from Damarli Estate , lighter roasts are where this cup was best served with good clean acidity and the first note to hit your tongue. Very sweet, floral aromatics that produce complexities one cannot find in other strains of coffee, and hints of tea-like spice linger on top, providing astonishing depth for those who enjoy natural processed coffees.

JAVA NAFA l Natural Anaerobic Honey

DONPEPE ESTATE is a specialty coffee plantation, making it the oldest coffee farm in the region and the first farm in Panama to specialize in coffee. The Vasquez family, now on the fifth generation of ownership, specializes in geisha coffee, but also in three different processing styles: natural, honey and washed. Java Nafa ,with natural process, this particular type has an identifying flavor that’s spicy and sweet. Yet,the grain looks similar to Geisha, but it's more intense - mainly characterized by its yellow fruit notes you'll find within each sip.

FELLOW FARMS l Castillo - Colombia Natural Anaerobic
Most people know that coffee comes from beans, but not everyone knows the process that these beans go through before ending up in their cup. From planting to harvesting, there are many different stages of coffee production - and each one is essential to ensuring a quality product. The pride of growers in producing top-quality berries, roasters who source beans from farms with stories to tell about their land and turn them into their own expression of coffee.
The idea behind Inmaculada Coffee Farms’ Program,
Fellows' farms is to improve the quality of life for farmers by helping them enhance their agronomic and picking practices while combining it with our knowhow. They do this through investing in stable prices that can reach specialty coffees standards so producers are able showcase what they have been doing all along-the international markets.
