Babies love all kinds of books: bath books, pop-up books, animal books, board books, cloth books, textured books, squeaky books, and shiny books.
They can enjoy these books almost anywhereโwhether in the park, on a chair, on the floor, in a pram, in the bath, or at the library.
You can even read a magazine, the newspaper, or look at a holiday brochure together.
Your baby will cherish the time spent snuggling with you. The sound of your voice, combined with the closeness and warmth, makes reading a truly special experience.
๐๐ Let Those Tiny Toes Go Barefoot! ๐๐
Did you know that any opportunity for your baby to go barefoot is great for the growth and development of strong, healthy feet? ๐ฆถโจ
Walking barefoot helps build arches, strengthens ankles, and encourages muscles to work harder. Itโs completely normal for your babyโs feet to appear flat-footed at this stageโthe layer of fat that fills out the arches usually disappears by the end of toddlerhood.
Experts agree that your baby's feet develop best when left barefoot for as long as possible. So, let those little toes wiggle and explore the world around them! ๐๐
๐ซ๐ท๐๐ With Paris on our minds, letโs have some fun with the well-known French rhyme, โFrรจre Jacques,โ and ring some bells!
These instruments create beautiful sounds when played together or separately to the classic tune.
Babies absolutely love making music, and the bells will certainly add an extra layer of joy to their musical playtime!
Letโs get those little hands ringing and enjoy the magic of music together! ๐ถ๐๐๐
โฝ๏ธ Baby Football: A Fun Challenge! โฝ๏ธ
Get ready for an exciting activity for your little oneโBaby Soccer! This playful game encourages your baby to push, roll, pat, or kick soft balls, promoting their motor skills and coordination in a delightful way.
Simply hold your baby securely under their arms and place a soft ball in front of them. Watch as they instinctively kick or push it away!
This interactive game not only helps develop strength and coordination but also introduces the joy of movement and play.
Cheer them on as they explore different ways to interact with the ball. Let the games begin! โฝ๏ธ๐
In honor of the Olympics, this Olympic-themed tummy time activity transforms a necessary routine into a delightful and stimulating experience for your baby! Tummy time on a large ball is a fantastic way to engage your little oneโs muscles and coordination while adding an element of fun and dynamism.
As your baby shifts their weight to maintain balance on the ball, theyโll strengthen their neck, back, and core muscles. Plus, you can turn it into an exciting game by pretending the ball is a swimming lane, encouraging your baby to reach for toys like rubber ducks as they โswim.โ
Make tummy time a joyful adventure and watch your baby thrive in their Olympic training! ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
๐๐ Discover the benefits of bouncing for your baby! ๐๐

๐ Strengthens Muscles: Builds strength against gravity, helping them develop strong muscles and motor skills.
๐ Encourages Head Lifting: Stimulates them to lift and control their head, a crucial milestone in early development.
Bouncing is not only beneficial but also a joyful way to bond and play with your baby. Give it a try today and watch them thrive! ๐๐
Where one minute you're singing lullabies, and the next you're hiding in the pantry eating chocolate ๐ถ๐ซ
When you finally get a chance to shower... until you hear the baby cry. ๐ฟ๐ถ Can someone please invent waterproof baby monitors?!
Warm up these chilly mornings with delightful nursery rhymes that invite singing and gentle rowing actions! ๐ถ๐ฃโโ๏ธ Let's create cozy moments filled with laughter and music for our little ones. Join in the fun and watch their faces light up with joy! ๐๐
๐ก Did you know that even though your baby's vision is underdeveloped at birth, she can still see colors? ๐ Using contrasting and moving colors is a fantastic way to support her visual development during her first year. ๐จ๐ถ Incorporating colorful toys, books with bold illustrations, and even mobiles with contrasting patterns can stimulate her eyes and encourage healthy vision development. ๐ Let's help her explore a world filled with vibrant hues and watch her eyes light up with curiosity and wonder! โจ๐
๐ Discover the magic of everyday play! ๐
Did you know that simple everyday items can be just as fun and educational for your baby as toys? ๐งธโจ Imagine their delight with a tissue box filled with safe, everyday objects โ it's a world of exploration and creativity waiting to unfold! ๐ฆ๐
While toys are great, there's something special about how everyday items spark imagination and encourage sensory exploration. From stacking cups to kitchen utensils for music-making, these simple treasures provide endless opportunities for learning and joy. ๐ถ๐ก
So next time, consider letting your little one dive into a world of wonder with everyday items. You might be surprised by how much they prefer it over all their toys!
๐๐ Embrace the power of imagination and creativity in your baby's playtime today. ๐๐ถ
When you hold your baby close to your heart, she hears your heartbeat, when you rock, she feels comforted, and when you shush, she remembers the whooshing sound of blood rushing through your womb. And when you cuddle her, she feels the reassurance of your touch and your love. Your baby's heartbeat mirrors yours and your bodies move in complete harmony, which brings peace and calm and strengthens the intimate bond between you. ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ
A rattle or shaker is a timeless first toy for your baby, perfect for creating sounds and fostering musical awareness, concentration, and hand-eye coordination! It's a wonderful way to introduce them to the joy of making music. ๐ถ๐ถ
๐๐๐ Why do we love using bubbles in class? ๐๐๐
โ
Bubbles are hard to track as their movement is unpredictable.
โ
Luckily babies love watching, patting and catching them, giving their eyes plenty of practice!

What things were ok as a child, that have changed now? I had to explain to my Grandmother that we sleep babies on their backs now, and no a teaspoon of sugar a day is not good nutritional advice ๐คช๐คฃ
Once Acceptable Things That Are Now Very Inappropriate As time changes, customs also change. Things that people once did routinely are now frowned upon. Itโs not necessarily that they were misbehaving before; they were following the rules of society for โฆ

Babies show a natural fascination with mirrors, typically starting around 4 months of age. At this stage, your baby may begin to smile or show interest when presented with their own reflection. Placing a mirror in front of your baby allows them to see their own face and explore this newfound discovery.
While babies may not fully comprehend that the image they see is their own reflection until they're older, around 18 to 24 months, there are ways to encourage self-awareness. One method is to point to their reflection and say their name, providing verbal reinforcement. Over time, this can help them make connections between the image in the mirror and their own identity, fostering a sense of self-awareness.
