Alberto became a pioneer in the region for alternative processing techniques, such as Honey and Naturals. Therefore, it is no surprise that years later, Alberto’s son Diego has provided us with such a unique and palatable product in Cascara.

Cascara are the dried skins of coffee cherries and a natural by-product of the coffee-making process, making it a sustainable and eco-friendly step for cleaner coffee production. The cascara is used as a delicious tea like product, steeped in hot water for approximately 5 minutes to produce sweet, citrusy flavours. Available now in 1kg – 10kg pouches.

Deep valleys through to towering volcanoes, result in profiles and varietals that produce starkly different cups.As we come into the second harvest of the year for Colombia, it’s a great time to start thinking ahead, and planning your incoming fresh coffee to land in early 2024. For more information on our incoming second harvest Colombian lots, contact your Account Manager, or email us at [email protected].
