Yesterday we said farewell to the founder of our family business, the great man Savvas Giannoukas, he established this business with his son Kon all those years ago and prior to this in the wholesale fish market, a very respected man with an unforgettable voice and famous smile The last one of the first generation to arrive in Australia aged 91 just a few months shy of 92! Even up until only a year ago he was still holding his own as he always did a very proud man.
Today we work on in his honour just as he would of wanted us, otherwise he would be here cracking that whip to pull us all back in line, just as he always did !
