MENOPAUSE🤔😥😫😡🙄😴100 Emotions sometimes in one day.
Ladies listen up. Menopause - My journey and my TIPS to help you through. I have spoken to many women lately who are currently in Peri menopause and feeling rather overwhelmed. I chose Not to use HRT however I hold no opinion on whether you should or shouldn't- purely personal choice.
will most likely put on weight (I put on 15kg). I know - terribly unfair. Try not to stress - let your body do it's thing. It will eventually sort out. Eat fresh food - Avoid sugar and ultra processed foods as best you can.
will get HOT - Really HOT. It is an urgent heat and rather overpowering. Hot flushes will last 2-5 minutes but are VERY intense. Wear LOOSE fitting clothing, things you can rip off quickly. Cotton is recommended. Get a fan (it will be your best friend). Night is worse. Cotton nighties a must.
will be disturbed. Try cammomile tea b4 bed, meditation and relaxation. Worst case scenario you may need sleep assistance (see your doc).
coping mechanisms will change. Seek help if you are feeling overwhelmed. Meditation will help. Try to avoid conflict.
Many other symptoms will be felt but the above were the most challenging for me. Remember your body is going through major changes (sort of the opposite of puberty) but your body is an amazing thing and can withstand many changes. Many of you have given birth (you know how amazing the body is) Allow nature to do her thing, be patient and trust your body.Eat healthy and think healthy. You will come out the other END a more empowered woman🎉💃

Well what a weekend. Pretending to be Donna Hay and ended up sounding like Gordon Ramsey after grabbing a red hot copper handle of a pan. 9hrs in Emergency - unbearable pain which 2 Endone helped.🤪 What an adventure being in Frankston emergency. Met some lovely people and some very interesting ones. Trying to manage with one hand is challenging but you find some inventive ways of getting things done.
