Property & Campus Services Department of the University of Melbourne is responsible for managing Sustainability across the University. A dedicated Sustainability team within P&CS works across the University to:
- Establish and progress the Sustainability framework for the University
- Engage and empower staff, students and the community on Sustainability issues
- Establish University-wide targets

Congratulations to all University of Melbourne riders for topping the leaderboards this Biketober ππ₯π
143 riders collectively completed 2,561 rides totalling to 21,886 km ridden and 2,547 kg of CO2 saved π΄ββοΈ
Congratulations to our top rider, Werner Furuya from The Florey Institute for being our top rider and the winner of a Prince Cycles Voucher!
We encourage all staff and students to continue championing active transport as a cleaner and healthier way of commuting π

Yesterday, our Green Impact student auditors reviewed the toolkits for our participating staff and student teams for 2023 πβ
They were given an informative training session by .aunz around sustainability, how it is practised at The University of Melbourne and how to complete an environmental audit.
This process will help us to determine our Green Impact champions for the year who will be presented at our upcoming Sustainability Awards Ceremony π
Are you moving out for the semester and have items that you no longer want, or canβt take with you?
Donate them to the Sustainability Teamβs collection of household items that will be redistributed to students who need them at the start of the new Semester π
Items that you can donate include clothing π, bedding π, kitchenware π½, e-waste π§ and stationery π.
You can drop your items off at the following collection stations:
1. Level 1, Building 168, Parkville outside the UMSU reception.
8.30am β 5pm, Mon-Fri (9am β 5pm outside semester)
