This is a pre-production Aiden brewer and it’s one of only two in Australia. It’s on holidays at ours thanks to our great mates and I have literally pulled two batchies with it so far. I’m very much learning how to drive it as there is no user manual yet, but so far: OMG! 🤩

Here we have the smartest home and/or small office batchie or single cup brewer that has ever been produced. Period.

With Cam from Bombora, we yesterday tweaked brew parameters with a fresh filter roast Colombia Chiroso 90+ natural: temps, brew ratio, total volume, bloom time, how many pulses and the temperature of each individual pulse and the result blew the old TC brewer into the weeds. No mean feat as it’s also pretty smart. Today, I played dumb: loaded it with water, threw in some freshly ground coffee and told it that it had a light roast. I literally pushed a button and the result was every bit as good as the first brew- perhaps even better.

This thing is super smart and yep, there will be an app- if you want to use it, but you don’t need it. You can do everything you want on the unit itself and it’s dead easy.

How good is it? Our old TC brewer will be gifted. So will our home brewer. I will be grabbing two of these and I cannot wait!

Other than that, they all get a full breakdown of group and valves, a proper ultrasonic bath in special stuff and inside the boiler photos to check for scale. Then it’s inside for whatever other attention is required to bring your machine back to better than new.
