Group leader Chris from Bundoora Scout Group explains the Darwin Campfire Circle project we have just completed to help commemorate the bombings of Darwin. Enabling the teaching of life skills, leadership skills, how to do productions and do presentations at Bundoora Scouts, the wider scouting community and the local Banyule community who can also book and use the facility.

🌟 The Darwin Campfire Circle at Bundoora Scout Hall is coming to life, thanks to Eden Building & Landscaping, Watsonia RSL, and the leadership of our very own GL. The photos make it look easy but we assure you it wasn't! The team worked through some of the coldest Melbourne mornings in many years as well as the stickiest clay mud that only the Bundoora Scout Hall can serve up. Can’t wait to gather around the campfire soon! 🔥

🌟 Community Effort at Bundoora Scout Hall! 🌟

Today, a monumental task was tackled at the Bundoora Scout Hall. One dedicated parent took on the dirty and challenging job of cleaning out the gutters. Thanks to the scaffolding set up for the window replacements, the task was made safer, though it was still a filthy endeavor.

A huge shoutout to this amazing parent for their hard work and dedication. Your efforts truly make our community shine! 💪✨

🚀 Looking Ahead at Bundoora Scout Hall! 🚀

We’re excited to share that a bright future is just around the corner for Bundoora Scout Hall! Starting on July 8th, the old and rotten windows will make way for brand new ones, all thanks to the support and advocacy of our local state member the Honourable Colin Brooks MP, and our very own group leader Chris Parr.

A huge thank you in advance to everyone who will play a part in this transformation. Our hall is set to become not only more aesthetically pleasing but also more energy-efficient and cozy for all our scouts and community gatherings. Here’s to a clear and vibrant future! 🌅

🔥 Rock On! The Darwin Campfire Circle is igniting excitement! 🔥

Hey there, Bundoora Scouting family and stone-cold fans of campfire tales! We’re laying down the foundation for something that’s going to rock your world – the Darwin Campfire Circle! 🌟

Our landscapers are working boulder than ever to construct a place where we can all gather 'round and fire up some good times. It’s not just any circle, it’s a tribute to resilience and history, a place to honor the past while warming up to the future.

So, get ready to gravel down memory lane and ignite new stories. We can’t wait to show you our gneiss new spot – it’s truly marble-ous! And don’t take it for granite; this will be the hotspot for all our future blazing adventures.

Stay tuned for the grand unveiling. Until then, keep your inner flame kindled and your excitement sedimentary, because we’re about to spark up some fun that’s absolutely lava-ble!

🔥 Stay stoked, Bundoora Scout Group 😁
