Fit For Life Ndis

Today has been a day full of fun at Docklands with our Fit for Life crew.

First stop was an all you can eat buffet at KBBQ feast. There was a variety of food for everyone. The options were delicious such as the fresh sushi and the watermelon juice!

After lunch we broke up into 3 groups to watch the following movies:

Movie 1: Smile 2
Movie 2: Runt
Movie 3: Venom

A few of us had the chance to play a few skill testing games as there was some time difference between movies.

All movies were great and Hoyt’s Cinemas was such an amazing venue! The seats are first class and we were lucky to enjoy the cinemas to ourselves.

Overall a fantastic day out on a hot day in Melbourne 🌞

Today has been a super FUN day out with our Fit for Life Crew 🌟

First stop was lunch at Brighton Beach Hotel. The food was delicious 😋

After lunch we went to St Kilda and spent the rest of our afternoon at Luna Park which had a Halloween theme 🎃

There was fun for absolutely everyone from rides to games.

We will definitely be back soon!

Today has been a lovely road trip to the Mornington Peninsula with our Fit for Life Crew.

First stop was Arthurs Seat Eagle - We all enjoyed the chair lift taking in the breathtaking views across Port Phillip, to Melbourne CBD. At the top we relaxed and enjoyed our lunch at the cafe. We enjoyed looking out at the view point also.

To finish off our day we enjoyed a Halloween & art theme at Peninsula Pony Program. We painted the pony’s, dressed them up and lead the pony’s over obstacles. 🎃 🐴

Overall a fun and relaxing day out. 🌞

Today has been a day full of FUN with our Fit for Life crew on this beautiful sunny day at Gumbuya World for the OktoberGuest weekend! 💫

We enjoyed a yummy lunch of mixed sandwiches, sausage rolls and sushi and a chocolate cake as we celebrated a birthday 🎂

Overall we had a fabulous day on rides, water park and different animal encounters. 🐨

Today has been a super fun and creative day with our Fit for Life crew.

We started our day off with a yummy lunch at Tai Wah Chinese. Our lunch was delicious as always.

After lunch we spent the rest of our afternoon at Metartworld. We started off in a private workshop learning how to make our very own Mosaic Candle Holders to take home, they all turned out fabulous!

After the workshop we explored the warehouse, there were so many mind blowing recycled art, maze and of course the new VR roller Coaster!!🎢

Overall a fabulous day. 😊

Today has been a FUN and CREATIVE day 💫

First stop was lunch at Village Green Buffett - There was a large variety of food options for everyone.

After lunch we participated in a Creative Candle workshop. We chose our own scent, different colours, and learnt how to pour and set different colours in a range of different moulds. Each candle was a unique creation with options such as dogs, turtles, ice creams and flower 🌺

While we waited for our candles to set we celebrated, 3 birthdays! 🎂 We also had a walk and a kick of football and soccer ⚽️.

Overall we were all blown away with such an amazing day out and everyone took home there masterpieces!

Today our Fit For Life Crew had a super fabulous day out. 🎉

First stop was a 2 course meal at Rosebud RSL - All the meals were Delicious 😋 We also celebrated a birthday 🎂

After lunch we had a FANTASTIC time at The Top Fun Shack. We were lucky enough to be able to hire the whole entire venue to ourselves and had a game of bowling, mini golf and of course the skill testing / Arcade Games!

After The Top Fun Shack we stopped by to visit the Fit for Life horses. Elvis our curly boy was so excited to see everyone and enjoyed a scratch and carrots 🥕

The Tina Turner musical was a powerhouse of emotions, and Tina’s voice was undeniably exceptional. Her fiery energy on stage was absolutely unstoppable, leaving the audience in awe of her triumph over adversity. It’s true, there is only one Tina, and her impact is unlike any other.

Today was a super fabulous day in the fresh country air with our Fit for Life crew! 🌲🌳

We went on a lovely road trip to a gorgeous town called Trentham.

Our first stop was at Pig & Whistle hotel where we enjoyed a lovely lunch 🥙

We then spent the rest of the afternoon hiking and exploring the gorgeous waterfall Trentham Falls! It was the most perfect weather 🌞

We can’t wait to come back again!

Today has been a super fun and relaxing day out with our Fit for Life Crew.

We spent the entire day at The Peninsula Hot Springs enjoying the sunshine 🌞 We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the new amphitheatre café, all meals were lovely and we met a very friendly magpie and duck 🦆

Overall a relaxing day and we can’t wait to return again soon 🌟

WOW 🤩 What another super fun day out at Melbourne Show today with our Fit for Life crew! 💫 We were lucky enough to ditch the rain 🌧️

From Motor bike shows, horses, reptiles rides, Elmo meet & Greet, show bags, there was fun for everyone ⭐️

Our San-Remo respite getaway was one to remember. 🏖️ 🦭🐮 🛥️

Day 1 we stopped by Caldermeade Farm & Cafe for a lovely lunch and enjoyed a tour of the farm. We saw a baby cow only 1 hour old and even got to see his first foot steps which was very special 🐮

We finished our evening with a game of ten pin bowling and skill testing games which was a lot of fun and enjoyed some delicious Chinese for dinner.

Day 2 we enjoyed a cruise around San Remo and Phillip Island, we were lucky to even see a baby seal 🦭 after our cruise we really enjoyed the Pelican feeding show, we were so close, they look like dinosaurs! We learnt a lot of interesting facts also.

Overall a lovely time away to form friendships, independence and have time to relax.

Wow! What a super fun day out with our Fit for Life crew at Funderdome for The Grand Final.

There was fun activities for everyone including mini golf, table games, arcade games, yummy food and of course our own private room with a tv to watch the game.

Today at Battkekarts was like stepping into the real-life Mario Kart game! It was an absolute blast and so much fun! The experience was like nothing else! We all loved getting the battery boosts from the BK item boxes, it would send you flying around the track 😆🏎️🍄🏁

We had our own room to enjoy our lunch and also enjoyed playing the arcade games winning a few toys from Mario kart.

Overall a fantastic experience and we will definitely return again soon 💫

Wow what a FUN day out with our Fit for Life crew 🌟

We started off with a lovely lunch at Pier 35. The lunch was delicious 🌟 We also sang a happy birthday and enjoyed a yummy custom football cake!

After lunch we spent time exploring the Footy festival! We had fun kicking some goals and we all got a football to take home!

After exploring the festival we spent the rest of the afternoon at the MCG. We went on a private tour and learnt so much history and also went behind scenes and watched the set up being prepared for that grand final.

After the tour we went and explored the sports museum! There were so many fun interactive games.

Overall a fabulous day with lots of exercise also. We will definitely be coming back!

After lunch we strolled through Docklands to get some exercise. We found a claw machine where you try win shoes which we had a go at also.

After lunch we had an option to watch the following movies:

Movie 2: Speak no evil

All movies were great and Hoyt’s Cinemas was such an amazing venue! The seats are first class and we were lucky to havd the cinemas to ourselves.

Today has been a blast on our Treetop Adventure with our Fit for Life Crew.

It was a perfect activity for building confidence, strength and supporting each other. We moved through the trees on an array of ziplines, tight ropes and tunnels throughout the forest alongside the Puffing Billy station in Belgrave.

Overall a fabulous day out with not only laughter but a great way to exercise 💪

Fit for Life braved the weather today and rugged up in our warm clothes. It was a lovely scenery in Emerald with all of the beautiful trees. 🌲

First stop was lunch at Paradise Valley Hotel, we had our very own VIP room. It was so lovely enjoying our lunch together on a extra large table and overlooking the valley.

After lunch we went to The Lost Woods Market. We found some interesting things browsing the market stalls. Each participant received $30 credit to spend to help build consumer/purchasing skill development. From wood craft sculptures, hair clips, rocky road to Taylor swift I pad covers there was something for everyone.

We also got to say hello to Mumsupials & sons and met a brush and ring tailed possum, they were super friendly and super cute.

To finisb off our day we stopped by to play arcade and skill testing games at Time Zone, we won many points which was super fun!

Today has been a day full of fun with our Fit for Life Crew at Docklands.

Our First stop was lunch at The Pancake Parlour. All of our meals were delicious.

After lunch we walked down to The Art of Banksy exhibition.
Banksy is an anonymous graffiti artist who may have been born in Bristol, England.

We started off designing our T Shirts. We were given different colours of spray paint and different art stencils. Our T shirts turned out terrific!

As we waited for our T shirts to dry we explored the exhibition. There were over 180 of the artist’s works, featuring original art, photos, sculptures and a infinity room.

Overall a fabulous experience taking home some amazing messages from the artist such as ‘There is always hope’.

Today has been a FUN & CREATIVE day out with our Fit for Life Crew.

We started our day off with a yummy lunch with a selection of sandwiches, quiche, sausage rolls and Sushi. After lunch we enjoyed a painting workshop at 345 Art Creative. We were guided step by step to paint The Bob Ross Mountains ⛰️It was a great experience growing our individual creative skills listening to music and supporting each other.

After our workshop we went to stretch our legs and had some fun with some recreational activities such as basketball and football.

We all had so much fun 🤩

Colin has been training at for over 10 years, at 89 years old he still enjoys travelling independently around Australia playing golf.

In the aging population, exercise has been shown to prevent disease, lower the risk of falls, improve your strength and balance so you can prevent injuries and stay independent, improve mental health and well-being, strengthen social ties, and improve cognitive function.

It’s never too late to start exercise. 💪

Today our Fit for Life crew had a super fun day out at King Pin located at Crown.

We enjoyed a super yummy lunch, a game of bowling, laser tag and of course skill testing arcade games! We won many toys on the skill testing game and prizes.

Overall a perfect day out full of support, smiles and laughter 😊

First stop was lunch at Pier 35, food was delicious and we celebrated Jess’s birthday with a ice cream cake! 🎂

After lunch we spent our afternoon at the The Princess Theatre to see…. FRANKENSTEIN - The Princess Theatre is located on Spring Street in Melbourne and is a gem of historical charm and architectural beauty, offering an enchanting experience from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had comfortable seating with a great view.

We all really enjoyed the show, the effects were fabulous. We were happy to catch the show as it was there last week here in Melbourne.
