This essential information is valuable for mums, dads, offical’s and riders. Pt is approx 50kg 20-25yo female, nil past hx or medical conditions. Applied ice packs to neck, both axilla, femoral regions and cold cloths, temp rising, inducible clonus and agitation remain.
AV 000 called on initial assessment due to suspected serotonin toxicity.
0120hrs Nil known allergy or adverse reactions to Midazolam or benzodiazepines. 5mg/1ml midazolam given to left anterolateral thigh via intramuscular injection
0130 pt settling, maintaining own airway, constant monitoring and 4lpm oxygen delivered via nasal prongs SAT+1
0150 SAT+2 flailing on bed, inducible clonus returned, nstagyumus noticed, strong muscle tone and uncoordinated limb movements returned.
0151 5mg/1ml midazolam intramuscular injection to left anterolateral thigh
0200 SAT score +1 pt settling, maintaining own airway and BP 0218 AV arrived
0228 pt given a further 5mg midazolam by AV paramedics, pt taken Hospital
