Solid Learning!
Out at our farm last week, a crew of VET Building & Construction students mastered concreting techniques, placing and finishing a concrete slab for our new expanded workshop space. It was all hands on deck with the Year 10 wheelbarrow brigade stepping in to help manage the pour. (Shout out to Russell for his top-quality facilitating skills!)
Students had constructed the formwork, installed plastic and reinforcing in previous classes. Next step will be framing and finishing off this new space.
Keep up the great work, guys!
Check out the progress!
Our Community Partnership Project for 2024 is taking great shape. Year 12's are working hard each week on their projects to upgrade playing spaces for Chirnside Park Primary School.
We are so proud of what they have achieved so far, and can't wait to show you the finished product by the end of the school year!
