🌨️ **Warm Up with Our Premium Organic Lamb Shanks!** 🌨️
Melbourne’s cold weather calls for hearty, comforting meals, and we’ve got just what you need! Our store is now stocked with **Warilba Grass Fed Organic Lamb Shanks** – perfect for creating delicious, warming dishes this winter.
🍽️ **Cooking Suggestion: Slow-Cooked Lamb Shanks**
Ingredients:
- 4 Warilba Organic Lamb Shanks
- 2 onions, chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 400g can of diced tomatoes
- 500ml beef stock
- 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
- 2 sprigs of fresh thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Season the lamb shanks with salt and pepper.
2. Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Brown the shanks on all sides, then set aside.
3. In the same pot, sauté the onions, garlic, carrots, and celery until softened.
4. Add the tomatoes, beef stock, rosemary, and thyme. Stir well.
5. Return the lamb shanks to the pot, ensuring they are submerged in the liquid.
6. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover. Simmer for 2.5-3 hours, until the meat is tender and falling off the bone.
7. Serve with creamy mashed potatoes or your favourite winter vegetables.
