A New Years Eve hockey tournament that finishes early enough to party afterwards π₯³π
2pm-6:45pm Sunday December 31st 2023
π This is a reffed free flowing minimal stoppage game, with penalty shots instead of the penalty box for minors, and teams breaking out behind the net after being scored on. Games will be 2 x 12 minute periods.
π 5v5 with matched lines, 2 lines per team with shift buzzer, players will enter individually and be drafted into teams to ensure a competitive, fun and fair day of hockey.
π 4 games per team
π Suitable for beer league levels C2-B1, or IHV equivalent (Unfortunately A grade and IHV Div1 players or higher are not suited)
Minimum age 15

This season will see three teams compete for the Pro League trophy; Inferno, Dogs and Snipers. Aligning with the Womenβs teams in the Winter season.
Friday nights will now have one game, at 7:30pm, each team will have a bye every third week. Season starts December 1st, playing three rounds before the Christmas break.
Resuming 12th of January - 8th of March 2024 for the regular season, finishing with the best of 3 grand final series between 1st and 2nd on 15th, 22nd and 23rd March.
If you can't make it to the rink, the game will also live streamed only on the iceHQ youtube channel πΊ

Cross ice games of 2 x 10min periods, each team is guaranteed 5 games, games will start from 6:30pm
$600 per team (Includes insurance)
Max 8 Skaters + 1 goalie per team
Entry based on current beer league division, IHV players also welcome in your equivalent division. A grade, Prem A players and higher are not allowed.
