Exciting announcement: We are saying goodbye to Eventbrite, and hello to the new Hume Libraries event booking system! You can now book tickets to our Term 3 programs directly through the Hume Libraries app or website.
You don't have to be a library member to book tickets to our events, but booking with your library card is the easiest way to keep track of all your tickets in one place.
We've got special events, activities for kids and teens, computer classes, and more coming up in Term 3. Get in quick to make sure you don't miss out!

Unfortunately, Turkish storytime will not be running at Broadmeadows or Craigieburn Libraries next week.
We hope to see you when it returns at Broadmeadows Library on Monday 29 July at 11.30am, or at Craigieburn Library on Wednesday 31 July at 1pm.

We've got a busy Saturday coming up for green thumbs at Broadmeadows Library! Our activity times have changed a little, but there are still tickets available to all sessions.
All happening at Broadmeadows Library this Saturday 20 July:
π± 12pm-1pm: Recycle Right Family Workshop. A fun, family-friendly recycling and food waste workshop for kids aged 5-12 and their families. Presented by Hume's Waste Education Officers. Book via Eventbrite.
π± 1pm-3pm: Planting and Caring for Herbs. A kitchen garden masterclass for adults. Presented by gardening expert Kaye from Blue Bee Garden Design. Book through the Hume Libraries app or website.
π± 1pm-3pm: Our monthly Plant and Produce Swap. Bring fruit, veggies, seeds and seedlings from your garden to swap. Includes a craft activity for children, but supplies are limited, so bookings are essential! Book via Eventbrite.
Program announcement: Thursday Hindi/Urdu Storytime is paused at Craigieburn Library for the next two weeks. It's NAIDOC Week! We're celebrating the achievements of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities with special events around Hume.
We kicked off with some fun school holiday activities at Craigieburn, Gladstone Park and Tullamarine Libraries last week. This week there's more for all ages including an exciting visit from Cultural Infusion and special screenings of Wash My Soul in the River's Flow.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Heating at the Hume Global Learning Centre Craigieburn is out of service. A technician is scheduled to return tomorrow to complete repairs and the heating is expected to improve from 10am tomorrow.
Just in case, we recommend dressing warmly or bringing an extra warm layer to wear during your visit to Craigieburn Library on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning!
