As the demand for public sector governance expertise continues to grow, educational institutions are developing specialised courses to equip learners with the skills needed to navigate complex policy and regulatory environments.
In response to findings from the Thodey review, UNSW Canberra sought to strengthen its course offerings by developing a new program focused on governance in policy systems, aimed at equipping students with the skills necessary to navigate public sector environments.
The university needed to find a way to create an engaging, rigorous, and effective learning experience whist maintaining high academic standards and ensuring the course was relevant and accessible to a diverse student cohort.
Through close collaboration, we helped them to design and implement their "Governance in Policy Systems" course.
After careful planning and production, the final course was delivered online via UNSW Canberra's Moodle platform, featuring interactive activities, multimedia content, and assessments designed to foster practical application of governance concepts.

In the rapidly evolving education landscape, universities seek to make lifelong learning more accessible and flexible for students and professionals alike. For the Irish Universities Association (IUA) and the seven founding partners, this meant creating a unified platform that connects learners with the right micro-credentials across a diverse range of disciplines.
But how could a platform support such a wide array of learning opportunities whilst being navigable?
Following a competitive EU tendering process, IUA appointed Curio to design and develop the micro-credential discovery platform. This platform simplifies the search for relevant micro-credentials, empowering learners to up-skill with confidence and clarity. Our collaboration with the IUA is a testament to how innovative solutions can address modern educational needs while supporting institutions in delivering impactful learning opportunities.
