Wendy Matthews & Grace Knight are two of the most iconic and beloved singers in Australian music. They’re both multi-award winning artists with a swag of Countdown, MTV & ARIA awards between them and a bundle of platinum albums under their belt.
In their first show together, and for a limited time, these legends of Aussie music present the songs of one of the world’s greatest living songwriters. Paul Simon has written some of the best known and acclaimed songs in popular music, ranging from gems like Sounds Of Silence, The Boxer, Homeward Bound and Bridge Over Trouble Water, to his solo classics like, You Can Call Me Al, Late In The Evening, Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes and Graceland. His albums, Bridge Over Troubled Water and Graceland feature among the highest selling albums of all time.

We're saddened to learn of the passing of Australian music industry legend Michael Gudinski overnight.

As co-founder of Mushroom Records, renowned music promoter and an avid supporter and spokesman for the Australian music industry, Michael worked tirelessly during the 2020 pandemic to make the case for support of the live music industry, and had partnered with the Victoria state government on a number of campaigns to create opportunities for musicians to play live, either virtually or in person, in the face of the shutdowns that devastated the sector in 2020.

Our thoughts are with his family during this time.

Blackbirds F.C. NEW SHOW DATE!

Featuring members of The Hollowmen, Helvelln, the Vanda’s and Flicker, Blackbirds FC play their own brand of alternative country rock inspired by the Go Betweens, Beck and Wilco.
With a string section, lush harmonies and a rock-solid rhythm section, Blackbirds FC combine classic song writing with passionate delivery to create a rich, textured sound that will not disappoint.

In late 2019 the band released their first album Field Recordings which has garnered airplay around the country and overseas as well as warm response from the music media.

The band are delighted to be returning to MEMO following their barnstorming album launch in the main MEMO Music Hall last year. With support from THE FISH JOHN WEST REJECTS.
