There are multiple ways that we can image the Lumbar Spine!
An MRI is usually the gold standard for viewing pathology, as It can show the muscles, spinal discs, nerves, and spinal cord.
X-rays are another imaging technique used for the lumbar spine. This is usually used for detecting injury to the bones, spinal curvatures, or wear and tear of the cartilage and bones.

It was our first time seeing John Brack’s ‘Collins St, 5PM’ 1955 in the flesh at the NGV.
