1. AVOID HOT WATER - Skip the hot water when washing your face. Keep the water between cool and tepid to retain your natural moisture and avoid your skin from drying.

2. REAPPLY SUNSCREEN - A good SPF is your skin cares own eternal fountain of youth. But it only counts if you reapply it throughout the day.

3. MAKE SEASONAL CHANGES - Change your skin care with the seasons. Yes, if you've had the same skin care for more than 6 months it's time for a review.

'Nobody puts Baby in a corner'  was Patrick Swayze's most remembered line from the 1987 movie Dirty Dancing. Said in relation to Jennifer Grey (Baby), the meaning of this line was that no one should be stopped from expressing their talents.

Jennifer Grey became a celebrity after the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off in 1986. She dated co-star Matthew Broderick and was involved in a near-fatal car accident with him when he drifted to the wrong side of the road. 

 "My body was never the same, my head was never the same, my ambition was never the same." 

She went on to have two rhinoplasties that significantly transformed her look, but maybe not for the better.

"I went into the operating theatre a celebrity and come out anonymous", she said at the time.

It goes to show that we should always be ourselves. Cosmetic procedures should not transform. We need to maintain our character and always be proud to be 'me'.

Ok this might seem corny, or cliché. But then why do I see this time and time again? Those who try to transform themselves into something or someone else, and those who try to gain confidence through getting cosmetic work invariably end up unhappy with the results.
