Sunraysia Volleyball

It’s been an amazing couple months for many of our representative players and as a community it is important to be aware of the success of these players:

- Alana Hassell, Brooke Symes and Dylan Lucchesi all selected in the Melbourne Vipers squad for the 2024 season.
- Dylan Lucchesi and Alana Hassell playing for Melbourne Vipers in round one yesterday against the QLD Pirates.
- Angus Hermans and Dylan Lucchesi playing for Monash in the PM1 bronze medal match recently.
- Alana Hassell playing for Heidelberg in the PW1 gold medal match recently.
- Not to mention our men’s Div 1 taking the gold at this years Country Champs.

What a great accomplishment to all our teams, players and supporting community. SVI’s future also looks bright with a number of players from our local teams off to the Junior CC’s in a few weeks at Horsham from both SVI and the Mildura Volleyball Academy.

Phantoms would like to congratulate Josh Gordon and Adrian Fox on reaching milestone games last weekend. Josh playing his 150th game with the club and Foxy playing his 100th!
Josh and Foxy are both foundation members of the club beginning their state league journeys when the very first Phantoms team was formed! Both of these players have had a significant impact on the club whether that is on the court playing, on the board making decisions or being a great mate and mentor to other players within the club!
Phantoms appreciate everything you have both done and continue to do for the club, and we are so proud to call you our own! 💜🖤

Juniors: 5pm to 6pm
Women: 6pm to 7pm
Men: 7pm to 8pm

Sunraysia Div 3 Men Country Champs Team. Played some great matches and were an awesome support to the other Sunraysia teams… thanks lads, great effort this weekend!

A shout out to our Sunraysia Div 2 team who had a hell of a crack at this year’s country champs. A young team with a big future. Well done lads!

Our Div 2 girls fought bloody hard… a young team and we are excited to see what the next couple of years does - 4th place 💪🏻

Bringing home some bling - well done boys… one of the team members just said, “I’ve been waiting for that since I was 14.” Well wait no longer lads, it’s yours!
