ππCHRISTMAS UPDATE π π
Hello everyone, I've had lots of interest and questions regarding christmas orders, so I thought I'd run over a bunch of stuff here...
First off, custom woodworking is a fantastic gift idea for christmas and now is the time to put your orders in as spaces are limited (I'm only a one-man operation!)
If you are unsure about something or would like a quote on a project, feel free to message me and we can go over the details. I am happy to help you find a gift that matches your needs/ budget.
I reiterate that now is the time to place your orders in. Once I am at capacity, I will not be taking any more. ππ
Here is a selection of photos of "the Heino" chess set. Went all out with joinery methods and design and love it! π
Here is a showcase of my latest personal project. I'll upload some pictures soon! π
Test fitting the drawers, still need to add the bottom panel. This project is sneaking closer to being finished! π
If only it was this easy!
Glueing splines into mitred corners can help strengthen the joint, preventing it from separating over time, leading to a longer lasting joint! π²πͺ

Completed another custom chopping board order, My new largest board made (40x50x4.5cm) π³. Tasmanian Blackwood and Blackbutt. Finished with a food-grade mineral oil soak for 6hrs followed by a buffing of beeswax for extra water resistance. ππ
Been working on some spindle turning. Here I am buffing a piece using its own sawdust, this helps with a smoother and more vivid polish. π
Workshop is back open for an exciting 2022! π
If you have any special order requests shoot me a message!

And now there are two of them! There are only subtle differences between version 1 (left) and version 2 (right) but they make a big impact. π
