New year Eve!!

Hobart will come alive with New Year's Eve festivities as two firework displays will illuminate the River Derwent at 9.30pm and midnight 🎆

The fireworks will be set off from a barge in the River Derwent, with the best view points expected to be from Taste of Summer, the Regatta Grounds, Parliament House Lawns and Princes Park 🤩

We've implemented improvements since last year to guarantee that the waterfront is family-oriented, easily accessible, and enjoyable for all.

We're encouraging everyone to bring in 2024 safely. There will be extra toilets, first aid and lost parents & children points around the waterfront area 🦺

And don't forget to prepare your pets ahead of the fireworks displays 🐶🐱
