This morning, Teneesha was asked to read a book in our Tiny Tots room by the children!, this turned into an investigation of magical curiosity!.

Conversations between friends flowed and team work was explored when challenged to find particular animals on each page.

Today, the children explored then use of scissors, thry engaged in a task that combined fine and gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving.

The experience encouraged creativity and collaboration, making it a valuable part of their learning journey.

Today was a day of reflection, reflecting on how we treat one another, our connections through smiles and laughter and how kindness can brighten someone's day.

Here at Green Leaves Joondanna you will find our team sharing huge connections over food, Wether that means bringing a plate from their culture or simply discussing our different tastes and spice tolerance 😆 🔥 it was only fitting that we bring one another together with a make your own pizza station. Together, everyone came together exploring their creativity and spending wholesome time together ❤️

Along with this, our team came together to create a design to represent our connections and give words of support to let one another know we are always there for one another ❤️

🌟Early Childhood Educators Day 2024🌟

Yesterday we celebrated the core of our centre- The educators 💚

It was a day filled with joy, smiles, hugs, memories and appreciation.

Our days can be busy and it’s often forgotten to stop and relish in the moment. I feel yesterday was truly one of those days where everyone got to just breathe for a second and take it in!

The team enjoyed some gifts, a diy waffle station and some games in the team room to connect us together! We also had a “guess the educator” in our reception for our families!

We appreciate you!!!!

Book Week 2024 📕
We love books 🥰 📚 We love sharing them with children, creating engaging experiences and bringing stories to life. This week has been a blast! 💥 Dress ups and encouraging a love of literature 🎉

Today we had our first Intergenerational therapy session with Bethanie aged care Joondanna🌸

Our children engaged in play with the elderly and encouraged a lot of laughs and smiles. We loved sharing this experience together and are hoping we can do it again soon! The communication shared between the children and the residents was beautiful to hear and we are sure the children will remember this experience fondly 🥰

If anything, rain enhances learning! New opportunities for learning emerge in the shape of puddles and squishy sand!!

A good coat and the correct rain gear and we are set for a learning experience like no other!!

Our kindy room sustainability corner offers the opportunity for children to explore their autonomy in creation, experimentation & imagination.

Today our kindys had a small Idea for a 'Robot monster' which then turned into a 'rainbow robot monster' then following a conversation about their view of halloween it became a

Our kindys love baking cakes! This special detailed cake was for our wonderful educator Ashu and took a lot of time, focus and precision to get it just right!! 🤩

Today we had our first Children’s Comittee meeting✨

This is to ensure our children’s voices are heard and they are having input into our service.

As we are approaching a change over in our seasonal menu, this prompted the topic to be about the food we eat at Green Leaves💚 Once we signed into our meeting, off we went discussing some hot topics around food.
