How can it already be 3 months since we got back from Madeira Island? 

Time seems to be flying ever since we started BRANDY & COCO. Remote work has always been the perfect way for us to spend time in new places and with different cultures. People think differently in different parts of the world. Experiencing new environments keeps our minds inspired and flexible. It opens up new possibilities and changes our perspectives on the way we design and communicate.

Every color has a different meaning and personality behind it. Knowing the psychological effect behind your palette is essential. Picking the right colors for your logo and general brand color scheme can totally change the look and perception of your brand.⁠

Any color evokes emotions. Green evokes a feeling of balance, whereas the right tone of yellow makes you feel happy. Anyhow, a brand shouldn't be in your favorite color, of course, you should feel comfortable with it, but always make sure the meaning behind the color reflects the vision of your brand and the message you want to put out there.⁠

Once you decided on a color direction, make sure you stick to it, as your audience will identify your brand by it – and what it's all about. Our go-to tip is to choose one, two, or three main colors and add some light neutral tones to your collection, just to make sure they can shine for themselves and have enough light contrast.⁠

If there's something that's blocking your mind, and there will be times when you want to step back, only focus on the small step ahead of you, and the things you already have achieved.⁠ ♡

There will always be some adjustments, and there will be some back and forths until you reach the design you feel comfortable with – and that's normal. Keep in mind that things don’t have to be perfect from the beginning, they will evolve with time.⁠
