DESTINY AT PLAY 💫
Control of this life in our soft puttied hands
The slippery conductors of orchestrated plans
My undeniable awakening, so come what may
The epiphany is conclusive, it’s destiny at play
A fabricated structure to pacify our minds
Routines and arrangements that this western world designed
Project what we will with our comforting assurance
It’s inconceivable to think, this destiny insurance
Remove your eggs that were placed in one basket
Diminish the grasp on your projection of answers
To assemble this life is a failed objective
Freedom is found when destiny is accepted
Construction of our lives, so deeply engrained in the social fabric
Material importance ranks highly within the matrix
Taught to plan an entire life, then it’s promptly washed away
Saturating our control, that is destiny’s way
Poetic Playground
I have slowly faded
In all facets of existence
My mind is jaded
and my body feels tired
I fear to become nothing
Has my soul expired
No ounce of resistance
No longer am I inspired
Consumed by this numbness
Just an echo beyond the thunder
I hope this too shall pass
Like a train before it’s wrecked
and in tatters
I’m a passenger through the glass
Until it all cracks
and shatters
The derailment of my life,
at last
