Toastmasters District 17 is a part of Toastmasters International a non-profit organisation which helps its members gain confidence whilst learning communication and leadership skills.
Willetton Toastmasters celebrated their 500th meeting last Monday!
This milestone is a testament to Willetton Toastmasters members' commitment. determination and persistence in developing their skills, network and themselves. During the Table Topics session, members shared their own experiences with the Club confidently, an achievement unimaginable to them at the beginning of their journey.
To mark the occasion, the Club created their time capsule which will be opened at the Club's 1000th meeting!
A child born 500 weeks ago would be in primary school now. Give it another 500 weeks and it will be a grown adult! We can't wait to witness Willetton Toastmasters's achievements in another 500 meetings!

🌟 Celebrating Our Distinguished Toastmasters! 🌟
We understand that the pandemic presented challenges that may have prevented a proper public recognition of the past four District 17 periods, recognizing our Distinguished Toastmasters' achievements. This post is to publicly rectify this, and we want to celebrate our wonderful members on their greatest accomplishments. 🎉
The Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award represents the highest level of educational achievement in Toastmasters. To earn the DTM, members must:
📚 Complete two learning paths
🎓 Serve as a club officer for 12 months
📈 Participate in the preparation of a Club Success Plan
🏆 Engage in district-sponsored club officer training
💼 Complete a High Performance Leadership Project
These amazing individuals did all of that! Thank you for your dedication and achievements. Keep shining in the Toastmasters world and beyond! 🌟✨
