Good morning beautiful people. Many of you know the main reason why we closed the cafe, for those that don’t, this is my darling 94 year old Mum and my precious Granddaughter. I have just spent the most amazing 7 weeks with Mum here in WA and at her home in NSW and am enjoying watching our beautiful grandbaby grow. I couldn’t have done that while we ran the cafe.
This said, I have been contacted by a number of customers, advising we are missed and asking if we can provide our home cooked meals to them.
I have given this some thought and am considering an option, however there are many steps that have to be followed if we are to do this. I would like to know before I take these steps if it would be a viable option:
I could supply possibly a menu of 5 or 6 meals once a month. By this I mean, a choice of 5 or 6 meals for collection ON A SET DATE once a month ONLY. The meals would need to be preorderd and prepaid no later than one week before collection.
So, my dear customers, just putting it out there, how many of you would be interested in ordering our home cooked staples?

OUR CAFE IS NOW PERMANENTLY CLOSED

I write this post with mixed emotion. Due to not being able to secure a buyer for our business and not wanting to commit to another three year lease, Kevin and I have decided to close our Cafe. Sadly we will trade for the last time on Friday, 1st of April.
We have loved our time in Ellenbrook, we’ve met beautiful people and made life long friends however, being on the other side of life, we now look forward to committing more time to enjoying our friendships and family.

Of all the gifts I received today, and I received many, these beautiful drawings are my favourite. Zoe Read I have enjoyed watching your Cooper and Mia grow over the last 4 and 1/2 years. I feel truly blessed they took the time to make me feel so special. My beautiful drawings now have pride of place on my fridge. ♥️♥️

If we didn’t know we were loved, we sure found out today. Thank you, thank you, thank you, to everyone that came to see us off today. It was such a wonderful way to end our journey. We were truly touched by all your good wishes and kind words. 😘😘😘♥️

Words cannot express how humbled we were to receive such a beautiful gift. Barbara Morrison you left me speechless. ♥️ thank you 🙏

Just love that so many of our customers are coming to say goodbye. ♥️♥️

I have seen kindness and generosity in my days, but nothing compares to the generosity shown by a particular local member, (always asked to remain anonymous) week after week. Since covid reared it’s ugly head, this person has donated hundreds of dollars worth of meals to be paid forward to those doing it tough, helping both the recipients and our little cafe. Thank you, thank you, for your kindness, may it be returned to you 10 fold. ♥️♥️

It would be remiss of me to not let everyone know how much an integral role, these two beautiful souls, have played in our success. Jamie Lee Tawhai and Debbie Dunham we would could not have gotten here without you. Never ever have we worked with two more beautiful, hard working and caring people. Kevin and I sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ♥️♥️♥️
