After teasing this new product over the last few weeks, we're excited to officially announce: The FlipSlide.

Maybe you’ve got an aspiring CrossFit Games Athlete in your ranks, or you just want to add some extra fun and variety to your training.  Either way, The FlipSlide is one awesome bit of kit.

The FlipSlide is a mechanical tyre flip device, allowing the weight of the flip to be incremented from quite easy, to really, really hard. 

The unloaded weight of a single end of The FlipSlide is approx. 42kg allowing less advanced athletes to get in on the fun, through to as heavy as you like.

Better still, add the optional Slide attachment and you’ve got a sled as well!

The Flip and Slide features CNC cut end plates with robust rubber bumpers to soak up the shock of being dropped.  A large rectangular centre shaft with 6 weight pins so that you can add or subtract weigh as incrementally as you like and all finished in premium powder coat.

New Product: Premium Technique Plates.

Technique plates are a must for any gym teaching compound barbell lifts. Technique plates are used to elevate the barbell off the ground to the standard height of an Olympic weight plate.
These are especially useful in Olympic lifts such as the Sn**ch and Clean in situations where the athlete may not yet be ready for the additional weight of full sized Olympic plates on the barbell.

Our premium technique plates are CNC machined from 10mm thick Acrylic which allows for much more precise levels of tolerance on the inner holes size. This means that the plates fit on to the bar with very little side play when compared with timber technique plates. Furthermore the clear Acrylic makes for a very visually appealing finish for a much more professional look.

The plates are sold in pairs and weigh 1.3kg each.

We're proud to present one of our most recent fit outs, CrossFit Loose Cannon in Beresfield, NSW.

This was an extensive fitout that featured the pictured mega wall mounted rig, 20 barbells, 5 flat benches, a modular storage rack and peg board.

The rig features five 4750mm uprights for 15 ft rope climbs, eight 3750mm uprights for hanging rings, four outriggers for extra ring space, double wall ball targets and eight squat racks.

We would like to thank the Buckmaster family for choosing Maverick for this project as it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish from our perspective and we absolutely love what you have set up as both a family business and an amazing facility for your growing community!

Lest we forget...

New product: Adjustable Slant Board.

Slant Boards are a tool that allow the user to train exercises in various states of ankle flexion. This is useful for athletes who are looking to gain or increase mobility. Exercises like squats, pistols, Jefferson curls and rehabilitation exercises can be performed on a slant board.

The Maverick Adjustable Slant board allows the user to adjust the angle of the foot panel to either 10, 20 or 30 degrees providing a greater range of uses from the one item and stores away neatly in its flat position.

Our slant boards are manufactured in our or workshop on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland on a CNC router for optimal fit and finish and feature a recessed Maverick “M” for added visual appeal.

New product: Maverick Peg Board.

We are pleased to announce the first of several new products to our line up - The Maverick Peg Board.

As you may have seen in our stories recently. We have invested in some new manufacturing equipment in the form of a CNC router.

This machine will allow us to broaden our range of equipment to include products that were not possible for us to manufacture or will allow us to bring previously outsourced items back in house.

This means faster turn around times and the ability to customise or modify items more easily to accommodate customer needs.

We are passionate about Australian manufacturing and believe that quality items can still be made in Australia at a fair price.

We're excited for this new direction for our business and look out for several more new or improved products including jerk blocks, slant boards, plyo boxes, custom signage etc in the near future.
