Yesterday I was interviewed by Sydney radio station Hope 103.2 about how parents can help their teens learn to respect each other. Thanks for having me again Ben.
Coming from a family of surfers the ocean is my place of peace. “Blue” and “green” spaces have been found to improve mental health. After the pandemic research in this area has grown. Nature time is important for all of us. When was the last time you had a moment in a blue or green space? As parents we get so focused on our kids screen time we can forget to get our necessary nature space too.
Even though I know a connected conversation is what she needs. In the height of frustration it’s hard not to try taking something off them to try to get “good behaviour. But rarely works..:
Yesterday I heard that two parents received jail time for their son's school shooting.
How can parents possibly be held responsible for the actions of their almost adult children?
This is the first time parents have been charged for a school shooting.
