Today, our Year 3 students explored the fascinating world of friction with two hands-on experiments! They interleaved the pages of two books and discovered just how powerful friction can be. The students were amazed at how difficult it was to pull the books apart, learning firsthand about the forces at play in our everyday lives. They also set up a string across the classroom, attached a balloon to a straw, and watched in amazement as the balloon zoomed along the string when released. ๐
Through these hands-on activities, our young scientists learned how friction works and how it affects motion.
