The brilliant invited me to be a part of a panel, talking about the mental load for mothers, along with and myself .

The most incredible event where everyone was so open, honest and inspiring. Which in turn helps everyone.

So in lieu of Mother’s Day and as a mother than openly struggles at the best of times, I wanted to share some of these empowering nuggets of wisdom from these brilliantly minded women!

- quit the guilt. And get perspective as to what you are doing and what you have. 🍀

- We are all human and all learning constantly. It is okay to make mistakes. ♥️

- Build a village where you take but always give back. Don’t be afraid to put your hand up and ask for help. Everyone is fighting the same battle. 👛

- learn to love yourself inside and out and show your little humans around you how to do the same. 💜

My advice - Learn how to laugh at yourself, with yourself. If you take yourself too seriously, you will send yourself crazy and laughter truely is the best tension breaker. 🤣🥰🤣

Mental health and money…we need to talk about it more, remove the shame and embarrassment and shine the light on solutions, heeling and empowerment.

Please know that sometimes you need throw money and the solution, just to get through the day/night/week, even though it isn’t the best thing for your finances. We are humans, not robots.

Be kind to yourself, and know tomorrow is a new day and can always start again to work on you, your finances and your head and heart ❤️‍🩹

Re: Bondi Junction 💔💔💔💔💔💔

Since Saturday night, I have wanted to be quiet on here. The impact of what happened on Saturday at Bondi Junction cuts deep and sadness is lingering heavy in the community.

This happens to be my home community and has disrupted the sense of safety and community we all usually feel around Bondi.

Right now I want to embody, for my children, how to grieve the staggering loss, how to give where we can, and lastly how to believe we are capable as a society to stop this from ever happening again.

As my content returns to normal over the next few days, please know this is no undermining or dismissal of the tragedy and trauma inflicted upon the community from the event.

Whether it’s your prayers, presence, money, time, kindness, know that what you give matters deeply in this time. Just because it looks different to the next person does not mean it’s insignificant.

Call your loved ones, go on a walk with your friends. Do things together. Be patient, be kind.

I will be at the Bondi Candlelight Memorial with Rocco this Sunday if anyone wants to join.

Like so many people right now, our hearts are heavy. Loaded with heartbreak, sadness, horror and despair from what happened late Saturday afternoon at Bondi Junction.

A safe place where so many of us go to run errands, buy gifts, homewears, an outfit, watch a movie or simply window shop. And a place that I regularly take my kids to, sometimes for no reason but just to “get out of the house”. Now things feel very different and not very nice.

Like so many women I have spoken to, we can’t stop thinking about these innocent victims and their heartbroken families and friends.

This will run deep and for a long time, so kindness, patience and support is so important.

In the meantime, stay safe, stay together and don’t let fear freeze you but drive change for a healthier, safer and secure world for all.
