What an amazing day we enjoyed celebrating our K-2 Olympics Carnival. There was an opening ceremony, followed by some challenging athletic events and we finished with a special closing ceremony. Well done, Brazil, for winning the competition but we were proud of all our athletes for having a go and doing their best. Thanks to those parents that were able to cheer our athletes on.
Book Parade and Fair!
One of our favourite days of the year!! Thanks to our wonderful community for creating the terrific costumes and attending the parade. Many thanks to those who donated a book to our library. Finally a huge Thank You to Miss Garden for her organisation.
Tonight the senior band are performing in Chatswood at the Arts Northwest Music Festival. After their rehearsal this morning, and as a reward for all their hardwork and dedication to the music program, they have been having fun this afternoon at ‘Holey Moley’ playing mini golf and eating pizza. Thanks to Mrs Power for all her hard work and Mr Phillips for attending and making this a memorable occasion for all the band students.
Today our year 6 students were visited by Narrabeen Sports High School teachers, Evan (School Captain Yr12) and some enthusiastic Yr8 students to participate in the www.solarbuddy.org program. It was such a great opportunity to learn about this terrific program, view the circumstances of children around the world, help others and catch up with some ex-students.
Thank you to all our community for joining us today for Open Day!
Happy 100 days of Kindy!
Buddy fun afternoon with Year 6 and Kindy students creating a testing parachutes.
A big thank you to Snr Constable Doug (aka Phoebe and Annabel’s dad) who came to talk to K-2 students today about water safety. What fun we all had and learned to always wear our life vests in a boat.
Stage 3 students impressed the entire school today by showcasing their amazing ‘Novel Showbags’. All students created this amazing work from home and we were blown away by the quality of work. Well done everyone. 📕 ❤️ If you’d like to have a look, they will be on display in the hall before school tomorrow 14/6.

Now More Than Ever
The National Reconciliation Week theme for 2024, Now More Than Ever, is a reminder to all of us that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will —and must —continue.
Students will engage in learning over the next week in the importance of Reconciliation Week to First Nations people and every Australian.
Thank you to our amazing P&C Executive and the wonderful volunteers that contributed to our Mother's Day Stall today. The students had a fantastic selection that we're sure all of wonderful mums, grandmothers and carers will be able to enjoy on Sunday. Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful mothers that give love and support to their children. We hope you enjoy your special day in Sunday.
Here are a few photos from our ANZAC day assembly today. Well done to our leaders for running such an important ceremony, our SRC for laying their flowers with dignity and Dante and Owen for their beautiful playing of The Last Post and The Rouse.

Thank you to Miss Watters, Miss Brown, our lovely parent helpers and kind Year 6 students who helped our younger students create some amazing Easter Hats today at lunchtime. We can’t wait to see them all and the amazing creations made at home on Thursday at our Easter Hat Parde.
EVERYONE BELONGS. Harmony Day celebrations today. Thanks to Mrs Mayo for organising our fun activities.
Our school leaders, joined by our NEST Collaboration primary schools, spent the day in the city at the International Convention Centre for the Halogen National Young Leaders Day. Learning with others to create our leaders of tomorrow.
A special Leaders Induction Ceremony held last week at Narrabeen Lakes. It was lovely to have some leaders, Eliza and Kade, from our local high school, Narrabeen Sports High, present our leaders with their badges. It was made even more special having Kade, a former Narrabeen Lakes student sharing in the day.
Gifts from our 2022 and 2023 Year 6 students. Leaving their lasting mark on our wonderful school. The Acknowledgment of Country was written by our 2022 Year 6 students and after consultation with our local AECG and our Aboriginal community, we have this wonderful reminder of the land we live, work and play on is, was and always will be Aboriginal land. This will be used as an exemplar for students to use for years to come. Our updated honour boards have been donated by our 2023 students and will serve our community for years to come.
Congratulations to all our performers and backstage crew for an amazing Musicale. You were wonderful. Thank you parents and friends for joining us tonight, we hope you enjoyed this evening. Well done Jess for compering the show. Finally, a big cheer to Miss Garden, Miss S and Mrs Power for your dedication to performing arts.

Thank you to the P&C for organising the catering, raffles and silent auction. Thank you also to OshClub for serving at the bar and Mrs and Mr Power for entertaining us. Finally a big thanks to our teachers for assisting on the night and guiding our students to create such amazing artworks.
Today is World Teachers Day! We are so lucky to have such dedicated and amazing teachers at our school. The P&C organised a beautiful display where each student was able to express their appreciation for their teachers and we love it 🥰.
The SRC ran a very successful school wide fun day today at lunchtime in support of R U OK? Day. Students set up lots of different activities in the playground and encouraged everyone to get involved. Another great example of how our students support each other.
