Quarantine days can be a drag! Trust me I know. So I have been practicing headstand every morning to get my good mood and motivation back.
Performing headstand comes with a lots of benefits it stimulate the pituitary gland which is responsible for releasing endorphins, the body's "happy" hormones. Headstands also reduce the production of cortisol and increase blood flow to the brain, stimulating the production of melatonin, dopamine and serotonin, all hormones that help regulate mood.
If u future yogi canβt get into the final pose donβt stress π§π»ββοΈ
Start in downward facing dog keep your elbows and the crown of your head on the mat bend your knees and lift your heels turning your hips upward.
Stay in this position for 5 secs.
Eventually with practice go into the final pose. Use the help of the wall or a friend ;)
Every morning... Iβm sooo lazy haha but I push my self and crawling I bring my ass to the mat! Every new step counts π π§ββοΈ .
