Cash Only Diner, Sydney The name Cash Only Diner suggests a casual sort of place, perhaps a hole in the wall sort of restaurant or quick diner where you can drop in for a coffee for breakfast or quick burger for lunch. However Cash Only Diner isn't really any of these things. For starters, it's really more a restaurant tha...

TUESDAY NOODZ-DAY // Phở gà 🐔
The weather has turned and nothing slaps harder than a bowl of pho. Last year when we ran this noods we sold out at lunch. So back for take two this Tuesday 26 March, bowls will be filling from midday.
Most people that walk into our restaurant, assume we have pho. We pride ourselves on regionality and showcasing a sense of place. The region of Hue and Da Nang. There is so much more to Vietnamese cuisine than pho or banh mi. So no. We don't usually have pho on our regular menu. Some people walk out. And that is totally OK.
We've introduced Tuesday NOODZ-DAY recently. To allow our chefs to hero dishes from their home town. Noodles nostalgic to them and their families. It has been such a pleasure watching the team bloom under the challenge of the Tuesday menu each week.
This pho, this one is a banger. Thinly sliced lime leaves crown the top alongside eggs and chicken thigh slices. A side of salt, pepper and lime is a must to dip the slivers of meat into. Come sooth your soul next Tuesday. You won't want to miss it.
