Last week the 3rd annual 1770 Cultural Connections Immersion Festival saw a celebration of dancing, storytelling, language and entertainment along with discussion to help educate crowds around the theme of reconciliation. Strengthening connections promotes reconciliation, and Evolution is immensely proud and grateful to continue our support since helping create the inaugural festival three years ago.

Now one of Australia’s premier cultural reconciliation events we congratulate our close partners, Gidarjil Development Corp., the PCCC and Burnett Mary Regional Group, for creating an inclusive, positive and impactful event which boosts opportunities for truth telling, recognition and reconciliation. The region’s best was on show, including Evolution’s yarning tent and the Gidarjil Murra Wolka Art– the future remains bright for .

We continue to champion institutional, structural, collaborative and cooperative together.

Our Cowal Gold Operations latest Shared Value Project - Galari Agriculture Company- is now proudly and officially opened to help support our community in Central West NSW.

Many of our people helped to create the Mt Perry Summit Trail near our Mount Rawdon site in Queensland.

The Evolution led project has been named a finalist for the 2022 Queensland Mining Awards Community Initiative category - thanks to the Bowen Basin Mining Club and Queensland Resources Council.

The trail opened in August 2021 as a result of community partnerships between the Mt Perry Community Development Board, Queensland Parks and Wildlife, Gidarjil Development Corporation and North Burnett Regional Council.

The Bowen Basin Mining Club and Queensland Resources Council are delighted to announce the finalists of the Queensland Mining Awards 2022.

This year’s finalist cohort features an impressive range of innovative and collaborative projects, using technology, process improvements and engineered solutions to address some of the biggest challenges facing our industry.

Plans are underway for the 2022 to make a three day regional NSW tour of Wiradjuri Country on Sept. 19, 20 and 21 to West Wyalong, Forbes and Condobolin.
